Put a deposit on a Candy White 13 plate pre-reg with delivery miles today. It's S spec TSI (86) with a spare wheel, boot liner and rubber mats thrown in. Taking delivery in a couple of weeks. Will post some pics when it arrives.

Super, I've just been out for 4 hours in a 1.2tsi, SE with winter pack.

I found it fine to drive, I know it's not going to set any records, but it didn't scare me either.

I think for the money it's a good car. Mind you with the temp alarm and 10' snow walls I don't think I was pushing either.

Boot is great, was a little surprised when I opened it.

Congratulations! The Rapid seems to be finding it's feet now that dealers/SUK are getting more sensible with prices and the cheap Octy2s are running out. Exactly the same thing happened in the Czech Republic.

Just bought mudflaps and sill protectors, should be easy enough to fit. I've already bought a leather steering wheel cover (which I've not fit yet) and looking to retrofit the leather gear knob/gaitor and handbrake from an SE. Any ideas/tips on how easy this is to do?
