Bucket seats - check, mental paint job - check, silly BHP engine - errr not sure. Load that with a 250 + lump and the jobs a goodun (so they say).

  • No I just think everyone is fed up with you judging from various threads on this forum

Looks good!

is it grey down one side, and red on the other ?

Looks like xenon headlamps, possibly with LED DRLs? That would certainly improve the range. Wonder what engines powering it.

does not appear to have much over standard?

strip over middle for boy racers and stupid size wheels with tyres the thickness of rubber bands (which are useless on the UK's cart tracks they class as roads)

the bumper spoiler looks good but is about the only visible change,

something similar to the monte (wheel arch / body kit, black trim instead of chrome etc) that really looks different would better fit the name "sport"

no mention of engine, is it going to be damp squib like the citigo sport where it has only the smallest engine to try and keep insurance down?

I love this, I wonder if this is also a study to see if the Rapid can accomodate xenons with a reasonable price, and if there will be a market for a hot Rapid? It's a shame most of the GTI festival concepts only stay as concepts and pipe dreams.

The original Fabia & Octavia RS+ concepts, the S2000 speedster concept, Citigo WRC edition!!

Damn Skoda and their teasing concepts.

I'd like to see an actual photo rather than a rendering if I'm honest :-)

Apart from the paint scheme, i really like that....especially the stance from the rear :-)

If they brought that into production with a 1.8 tsi engine, i'd seriously consider one.

They could make an entry into DTM or BTCC with that thing!

Damn that's tight!

Me want!

I take back my comments above now more images are available,

the head-on and rear views make it clear there are a lot of bodywork changes, and looks more like it

now all that is missing is the engine spec,

wouldn't mind seeing that in BTC

It will probably have the 1.2 3-cylinder :giggle:

Reminds me of the Polo Worthersee from 4 years ago, looked like a proper performance Polo but under the bonnet was merely the old N/A 1.4 pumping out a mighty 85bhp...

The rapid sport looks very good  it's time the rapid had a sports /rs model

If they do one I'll pinch the lights :)

Definitely like the look of this - maybe it'll get the Fabia VRS 1.4 TSI under the bonnet??

I'm not entirely convinced by the paint job but it is otherwise rather nice :-)

Paint job looks great! :)

how would you define the colour of your car for insurance/ DVLA purposes?

Tis all aimed at Worthersee - Skoda are supporting VW and showcasing another 4 cars at the event alongside this Rapid:

New Octavia Combi with sports package

Citigo Motorsport

Fabia RS Motorsport UK Edition

Fabia S2000

Arches are too pumped for a sports model, even the vrs models of cars they do don't have them.

Gauging interest is my view - I'd guess a vrs model will arrive with similar styling.
