Just wondered if anyone has ever tried using a bluetooth adaptor module (the type that connects to the apple dock connection) with their MDI cable?

The type I mean is like this:

Just wondered as I don't have bluetooth in my Fabia and wondered if this might just do the trick?

Anyone got any experience of these??

From the description I can't see why it wouldn't work, and maybe even work with other BT devices.

However, it does seem rather vague about "control". I'd be asking if I could still skip, pause, forward, back etc etc. Also, you won't be charging the phone from MDI anymore.

It does look plausible... I think i will drop them an email and ask about the control.

I have a separate car charger, so not too worried about the charging function.
