Yeti retrofit parking sensors

Featured Replies

Please be warned that the retrofit parking sensors advertised for the Yeti by Carsystems.pl is not a direct fit. The main wiring loom is designed for vehicles where the control unit is located at the front of the vehicle and not the rear which is the case with the Yeti. It will therefore need substantial changes. Other than that the accessory is good.

Are these front & rear, front or rear sensors? And do they integrate with the head unit without recoding?

They are sold as front and rear sensors, but I purchased them to upgrade my rear only optical to full front and rear, that they said would be suitable. I had to have them professionally fitted due to the loom not being comparable to the factory fitted rear sensor, although they may be ok if installing as a full unit. You would however have to install the PDC module st the front of the car, whereas the oem fit is at the back. Yes you will need recoding, and then you can get the optics on the radio screen.
