Brake disc n pad upgrade

For the standard 288mm vrs setup 04plate, what's the best disc and pad combo for hard stopping of road and track? I asked earlier today about size upgrade but it seems too much, so new dot5 fluids, braided hoses, what discs, want the cold start bite and ability to take 20mins track action.

You can upgrade to 312mm for 320 quid this includes pads discs carriers and calipers(reconditioned) you may also need to buy the anti squeel springs from skoda which are about 15 quid. Ebay is the best (See below link) he does sell them in other colours as well. as for pads and discs i like mintex discs and pads have had them in both the 288mm and now the 312mm. Oh and you will aso need about 500ml of brake fluid to bleed them.
