2010 skoda octavia vrs tdi radio change what is best

Recommended Posts

hi all... sorry for this post as this will probably  get asked all the time but as I am new to a Skoda and new to this site so HELLO :)

I just need some help so here we go (any help or advise would be nice)

I have just bought my self a 2010 skoda octavia vrs tdi, I am over the moon with the car after selling my 2007 Audi A4 s-line Quattro , I thought the radio in my VRS  was a sat-nav but to my disappointment its not , its just the standard but nice 6 disc bolero, was looking on eBay for a radio that is just a one in one out and little hassle to fit, I bought a copy radio (cheap sat-nav from china) for my Audi and the sound was crap.. I don't want to fall for that again..

but I have only got about £200 spare as the car has wiped me out...I know what's going to be said now ..

you will not get a good radio for that.

I know that but my question is to tide me over till I can afford  a GENUINE Skoda Columbus Sat Nav Navigation RNS510 are these radios below any good or am i waisting my time again...

was looking at this on eBay  7" Car GPS Sat Nav Stereo for SKODA OCTAVIA Dual Core BT RDS 3G Can-bus 7699TGB eBay item number:

151881955275 now looks good but yet another copy me thinks for that price... has any one got one of these are there any good..

I like the look of this as well 8" Car Player Radio Android 4.4 4-Core GPS Navi OBD2 3G 2GB 32GB for VW Skoda UK eBay item number:
262590283292

I would like to put a GENUINE Skoda Columbus Sat Nav Navigation RNS510 in as I have been told these are the best but just haven't got £500 spare this side of Christmas

so what radio is best to buy that has sat-nav and good quality sound but cheapish....help

Why not buy a separate sat-nav to tide you over until you can afford the Columbus that you really want?  When you have the Columbus you could even sell on the separate sat-nav to get some of your money back.  A separate sat-nav could cost you around £100 or even less.
