Scunthorpe to Humber Bridge

Featured Replies

Not sure of the road number.

Most of the bends have BIG chevrons to point you in the right direction nd enable you to set up for the corners!

Sounds like the A1077 to me and i agree its a nice little stretch of road:thumbup:

the local paper; Scunthorpe Evening Telegraph,

always refers to the A1077 as "the road of death"

I can well believe it. There are some nasty bits - especially for the 'young and inexperienced'.

nearly all of the crashes are locals,

they try & go a bit faster each day.

then one day there's an unexpected slippy bit.

still it keeps the florists busy!
