He’s saved my arse so many times with spares im just trying to do him a good turn. Its not about money for me at all. I’ll give you an example of the hours he’s been working. Last Monday i came down at 10am for a chat, ended up helping out as he had a couple of big jobs on and we left at 3am. he has so much Fabia stuff, some boy from Port Talbot messaged him earlier about and entire front end including both wings, drivers door, drivers side rear door and a bumper and he has them all there just hanging about.

Hey, unfortunately i dont think he would consider it at all. Part of his problem is that he is so busy and he’s a 1 man operation hence the absolute mountains of stuff that he has. He’s flat out trying to make up his losses from ‘The Rona’ and now the landlord has told him he’s knocking the unit down and building new ones next year and he’s left with tonnes of VRs parts everywhere. I counted 5 full sets of calipers earlier today, he must have over 50 calipers there is total. He also had a tin of original VRs green paint (i had that already mwhahaha). Its ridiculous how much stuff is there that he wants to get rid of but he’s working 12hrs a day and has no time hence me asking if i could take some photos and put them up on here for collection. His prices are pretty cheap as well. If the mods say its ok i’ll put his name and contact details up on here. He just has no time to do any advertising.

Morning all, not sure where to post this but my mate who runs a garage and pretty much exclusively breaks Fabia VRS’s (nothing he doesn’t ant know about them) is having to downsize his unit over the next year and needs to have a clear out. If theres a part you need he is guaranteed to have it. Not sure about posting details on this post but if any of the mods say its ok then i will post him name and contact details. Ahh, all very good info. I shall look at the resistor fitting as well. In your second paragraph you mention that one fan works when asked to. My problem with the aircon is that it blows ice cold for 3 seconds when the fan kicks in and then 'warms' back up once its stopped working. When i want aircon on i dont want it to turn itself off haha i want it to stay on until i turn it off.

Oops my mistake, just went and had a closer look at the Aircon Fan and it has 2 wires not 3. Sorry lack of sleep and not the best light played tricks on me. Its only 2 wires 100% positive on that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So if the main fan doesnt work that will affect the air con fan also causing it to only come on for seconds at a time would it. I shall go and investigate the aircon fan now. Morning all, replaced my rad over the weekend, nice and easy job but i noticed when i ran the car up to temp i didn't hear the fan kick in, i wasn't bothered by that as after owning the car in 4 years I've never hear the rad fan at all and i've left in on tick over on the drive for 4 hours with 15mins revs in-between and the temp gauge never went over 90 degrees. Anyway, while the car was ticking over while bleeding the rad i decided to turn on the aircon.....nothing. Didn't get cold or anything. I just assumed that it needed regaling again so started packing up my tools. All of a sudden the aircon fan kicked in, stayed on for about 10 seconds then turned off again. I left the car running and it appears that every 1-2 mins the aircon fan kicks in for 10 secs then cuts out, it continues this behaviour until i turn the aircon off. So to sum up, my rad fan does not appear to work at all and my aircon fan comes on for 10 seconds ever 1-2 mins or so. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be. Ive had a look and people have suggested the module or the fans its self or could it be something else. Thanks for reading.

I don't think there's a gold clip (ring) on the passengers side.

I bought a cheap replacement part off eBay for like £8 and its lasted me 3 months. Moral of the story, buy cheap buy twice. Off to TPS in the morning for me as fan speed 3 is like a hurricane.

This may sound strange but the crashy noises in mine changed for the better when I threw a set of Eibach springs on it. Made it so much better, much less harsh. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I also had mine done at quick fit and i have to day it was a top job down in Merthyr's centre, even gave free tea or coffee..winner.

You can get to the bolts relatively pain free but i don't know how you'd remove anything from inside the A pillar itself, the hole is just about big enough for a finger and a 12mm 1/4' socket.
