Any progress on this one, hkp? I got my new car on Wednesday and noticed problems with the windscreen cam right away. Took it to the dealer on Monday. They also have the issue with the car needing a recalibration but don't have the tools. They will take it to the local VW garage to do it tomorrow. I do hope this gets sorted as it is affecting the Lane Assist, the automatic light dim and the traffic sign recognition... :( Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2

Mine is also on a ship today! Ordered end of July. Only problem now is a lack of man power at the dealership. The car should arrive at the dealers early next week (CW 40), but I might have to wait untill late CW 41 before I can collect it. :(

Yes, the Maxi dot does display nav instructions (in addition to the main head unit). The view out of the car with sunset glass depends very much on the scenary your are driving in . Seriously: The sunset glass does not affect the view from inside the car a lot. Its like wearing a pair of sun glasses...

According to a Norwegian press review the 2.0 TDI does have the independent rear suspension...

Hi, just ordered my second Octavia a few weeks back. Searching the net for info I stumbled upon this forum. After reading for a few days decided that it is possible to get very good ansvers to almost anything Skoda here, so I should registrer.

I was told that there would be free updates for 3 years, no restrictions on number of updates pr year. Also found the update page you refered to, and yes, it does seem an "open" download... I am quite keen on these updates, as the maps in one of the demo car I drowe lacked the new main highway going towards Oslo from where I am (the E18).
