  1. Thanks for the info ,the noise on mine disappears within a couple of seconds.Prob nothing to be concerned about.
  2. Hi Fabiamk2SE I have read I think on the Seat forums, the Leon uses the same engine that it is the hydralic Tappets making this noise on start up,must admit doesn't sound good, after a few seconds everything sounds sweet,Also think the latest 1.2 uses a belt and not a chain.
  3. My 1.2 Tsi does it,sounds like lack of oil around the top half of engine,Tappets maybe?
  4. Good review Joe pretty consistent with my views on my car, especially the comment regarding the clutch travel, biting point is high up on my pedal too,I am very happy with my 1.2 tsi
  5. I have a creak coming from around the speedo glass on bumpy roads, particualy when temperatures are on the low side
  6. Thanks for the replays I have had a closer look at the shock absorbers in good day light,The orange section that I mentioned at the top does appear to be part of the shock absorber, and is not the transportation blocks.
  7. Another reason I am asking is at the top of both rear shock absorbers is a sort of orange padding, and the covers on the shocks are loose and rattle if touched, as if the weight of the car is supported by these orange supports, This is with the car resting on the ground and me looking through the arch.
  8. I have seen a few comments in the Octavia section regarding transport blocks not being removed prior to the customer handover,My question is does the Fabia have these transport blocks installed front and rear for delivery purposes,I don't want to appear silly but my suspension seems to sit rather high, I have the sel model with 16 inch wheels, Many thanks in advance for any information on this.
  9. They can sound a bit like a diesul on initial start up from cold sometimes
  10. Thanks for the info Phil it's been around 10 years since I have had a petrol engine, guess times have changed.
  11. I have noticed when the engine is on tickover the speed can be as high as 1000rpm, occasionally it will run at approx 750 rpm just wondered if anybody else is experiencing this, many thanks in advance
  12. I saw my car on transporter by off chance before it got delivered to the dealers, just the wait now between now and the big day for you, enjoy
