  1. Did you end up tuning your iV? Any big difference? I've been trying to find information regarding this myself, and only numbers I find is the same as yours..
  2. CR2025 I nearly earned some money, as my wife bet 1000 NOK that it would be CR2032 :P
  3. Got it!! It was as simple as Neily03 said! Put something in between and twist! Made a DIY video
  4. This is how my key fob looks like. Not even close to all the ones on YouTube and other DIY's..
  5. The owners manual sugests that you bring your key to the dealer, or try with a small screwdriver - but where is up the gods to know.. I've tried several times. I guess its as easy as everything when you know how, but I dont want to apply force without knowing where..
  6. Hi, As the battery in my key fob is running out (Kessy stopped working, and alarm every time I start up the car) I would need to swap the battery in the key fob. But the manual tells me to contact dealer for the swap (seriously?!), and the dealer is 60 km from here .. Has anyone successfully done this at home?
  7. I've had my Oct III 1.4TSI for about a year now. It has been a turbulent year, no doubt. But I still like the car a lot! Its already been in and out the workshop 5 times (changed leaky mirrors, resprayed roof, changing ECU's, etc). (I was actually told that I should be happy since it was free of charge last time(!) Not very impressed over build-quality or service handling .. But now there is a potensial big problem There is an increasing sign of rattling coming from the A-pilars (...which is built from the amazingly rattlingproof material "plastic fantastic"!) So simply replacing them would just expose the problem for some time I guess. Would this be covered by warranty? What could they do to fix it permanently?
  8. Ok! Thanks. Yes, its on late (and DRL + fog is legal as option when its daylight in Norway - NOT when dark!)
  9. I've been into BMW-coding the last years, but just recently bought the new Octavia III. Have been reading a bit, and it seems that is pretty much the same with VAG as with BMW - almost everything seems to be done with a cable and software. Does anyone now if its possible to alter the paramters on the light sensor? My xenons have been turned on almost all the time, even in sunlight. It seems that it requires midday-Sahara-light-setting to turn off the xenons. I want it to run only DRL at daytime, and maybe combined with foglights.
  10. Would the "required amount of light" be possible to change with VAGCOM-software/cable? I really want it to be less sensitive for poor lightning (or cloudy day as we mostly have at the west coast of Norway).
  11. Does your dealer have any documentation on this? Or is it just something they came up with to avoid the question? Sounded to stupid!
  12. Not exactly what I was expecting from a brand new car! Is this just a one timer, or has it happend with other members as well? What do I do?
