Hi guys. I have a 2012 monte carlo 1.6 diesel. When I accelerate slowly... Most notably when I head from a 40 zone in 5th into a national limit and I slowly accelerate with traffic, however it does it in all gears... I get a wobble in the car. Almost like an unbalanced wheel... If I accelerate hard I don't feel it. I know it's not wheel balance and it's only when accelerating. Any ideas? If it's a warranty job I will head straight to Skoda. But I work away during the week so it's hard. Jon

Just fitted mine this morning. Took maybe 30 mins including finding the right tools! Can be done in 10 if you have tools prepped

Mines got the REVO on it and I think its great. thats all I can add as never had any experience of the shark

I wont lie, im greatful mine doesnt have traction control... but im a little horrified as im pretty sure the fabia is (sorry guys) aimed at the more younger or maybe more female drivers on the mass marked (except us with Monte's and VRS'... we are manly men!) so to have a car for that sort of market with no sort of traction control is frankly scary! hahh

Yeah cheers guys. My Mk1 VRS had a really smooth traction control system... But my wheels spun... no flashing lights... nothing. it would have sat there spinning all day! It's just something thats never crossed my mind or id even noticed before. as a policeman I usually drive quite tamely but when I noticed it I explored... and yep... like my old 1995 Swift GTi! nothing! hahah Jon

Hi Guys, Ok... 2012 Monte Carlo 1.6 Tdi - It does have a Revo Remap on it... I gave it full throttle leaving a roundabout in the wet to get out of a trucks way... the wheels spun... a lot. So i proceeded to a private road and it appears that my car has no sort of traction control or anything installed? Is this normal? It has ABS as I tested that to be sure... My test was: Wet road... doing about ten mile an hour... raise the revs with the clutch in and release the clutch to initiate a wheelspin... I held it for a little longer than I wanted to, just to be sure that the car didnt have a very slow reaction time like my old golf GT-Tdi... and nothing. Then I noticed the lack of a button in order to turn it off. Did some not come fitted with any sort of traction control? Could the Revo map have disabled it? It doesn't really concern me... I am just shocked by skoda! We've all known a person that thinks 'they can drive' and we all know its only the electronics keeping them on the road! Cheers guys Jon

Oh I think it was the F2F2 Sprint yellow. slightly Darker. On the risk of causing offence to some people here the Lemon Yellow I feel appears a little sun faded. JR RS - yours is the yellow I was on about! Thanks for the help guys!

Hi guys, I have been driving myself mad picking a colour to plasti dip my fabia... and It hit me like a bolt of lightning yesterday while on the M4 at the services.... I saw a Yellow Octavia VRS (I think it was a 56 plate)... Its just the perfect shade. There will be a couple of additions to it (pearl.. and matte) But the shade is just perfect. Does anybody know the colour code for this? Cheers guys! Jon

i know. some modules can do it some cant. I need to check my module number against someone whos got it working on theirs. I dont suppose yours does?

Does anyone have the turning lights on their Fabia II? I am trying to turn mine on so I need to confirm matching part numbers on an item to see if I can turn mine on or not. If you have them please get in touch! Jon

Ok cool thanks! I will post a question up on the fabia section Also it said "clear DTC's" or something to that effect after I had completed the scan. Is that the fault code clearing? I didn't click it as I wasnt sure what it did. Jon

Just a note - it says a fault on the right adaptive light... I did start clicking on turning on anything that said anything to do with turning lights.. I have no turned it all back to standard... but dont know if it registered a fault
