  1. Yeah, just have a go at the French. At least they don't follow the USA like lapdogs. Maybe it's alright for us Welsh to take the **** out of the English after all if that's what you think, or perhaps even more.
  2. Agree with RSB in that your golf clubs will fit if you take your woods out of your bag first. Bag will just about go diagonally and then you place the woods in with the grips up high to the left (there is a slot which seems alomst purpose built!). Can't get two sets in tho' so no picking up mates unless you want to dirty the back seats.
  3. The best evaluations always refer back to the methodology and question the suitability of your methods in obtaining your primary (questionnaires, surveys, etc) data. An unreliable method of collecting one set of data means that to some extent your research is inaccurate and a good evaluation will connect through to possible inaccurate results/conclusions. Best way to get good marks is to find your specification on the web and tailor make your evaluation to get best marks. A good way is to choose one method that you feel was not that good and rip the methodology for that measurement apart by suggesting problems. Then rewrite the methodology for that measurement so that the data collected will be more accurate. Then if you didn't guess, make the link that this new improved methodology to more accurate results/conclusions. Sorry if my post is boring.
  4. Advice for when you've got your initial problem sorted - don't try the new beta driver available on Netgear website without first downloading recovery utility. Thank god I did 'cos everything locked up and router went into crazy mode
  5. The Arch Drude is still going strong - Julian H Cope - new album too
  6. I remember that you can capture the file to play in Media Player, etc, but forget exactly how :dopey: Is a temporary internet file created when you play it in IE? Someone please help
  7. Following on from the 'Work' virus, I recently submitted this problem to Tech Forum. I have not had a reply as yet :insane: Subject: Tech support 18 months ago, I upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from DrinkingMates 4.2, which I had used for years without any trouble. However, there are apparently conflicts between these two products and the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend 1.0 with the sound turned off. To make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as LadsNightOut 3.1, Football 4.5, and Playboy 6.9. Successive versions of Girlfriend proved no better. I tried a shareware program, Slapper 2.1, but it had many bugs and left a virus in my system, forcing me to shut down completely for several weeks. Eventually, I tried to run Girlfriend 1.2 and Girlfriend 1.0 at the Same time, only to discover that when these two systems detected each other, they caused severe damage to my hardware. I eventually upgraded to Fiancée 1.0, only to discover that this product soon had to be upgraded further to Wife 1.0. While Wife 1.0 tends to use up all my available resources, it does come bundled with FreeSexPlus and Cleanhouse2003. Shortly after this upgrade, however, I found that Wife 1.0 could be very unstable and costly to run. Any mistakes I made were automatically stored in Wife 1.0's memory and could not be deleted. They then resurfaced months later when I had forgotten about them. Wife 1.0 also has an automatic Diary, Explorer And E-mail Filter, and can, without warning, launch TurboStrop and Whinge. These latter products have no Help files, and I have to try to guess what the problem is. Additional problems are that Wife 1.0 needs updating regularly, requiring ShoeShop Browser for new attachments and Hairstyle Express which needs to be reinstalled every other week. Wife 1.0 also spawns unwelcome child processes that drain my resources. These conflict with some of the new games I wanted to try out, warning me that they are an illegal operation. Also, when Wife 1.0 attaches itself to my Fab vRS hard drive, it often crashes. Wife 1.0 also comes with an irritating pop-up called MotherInLaw, which can't be turned off. Recently I've been tempted to install Mistress 2003, but there could be problems. A friend of mine has alerted me to the fact that if Wife 1.0 detects Mistress 2003; it tends to delete all of your Money before uninstalling itself. Any ideas?
  8. Just left my car at the dealers for annual service and replace front tyres. Got some Toyo Proxes T1-s from Camskills which seemed to be the cheapest. Primacys managed just under 18k.
  9. Thinking of buying the Toyos for my Fabia vrs, but which dealers fit them. Local dealers can't seem to ghet hold of them or are disinterested :( I can get them off the web (Blackcircles), but they seem more expensive as you have to pay for the guy to call round to fit them. Any ideas?
  10. Had similar problem with Netgear wireless router, but found patches which solved the problem. Worth a try?
  11. I always have this problem - searched the web and the most reliable site for updated passwords is http://www.geocities.com/ricksfootychallenge/password.htm
  12. Like CJ, also had a Picasso HDi for just over 3 years. Just out warranty the cat split and dealer wanted £2k to put all the other silly problems right (had it regularly serviced by them as well!). Citroen didn't entertain any 'goodwill' gestures even tho' it was close to the warranty period! Mrs O chose the next MPV in July last, and went for the new Scenic 1.9 DCi (120bhp & 6 speed). Lots of power as found the Picasso underpowered and very slack in cornering. The Scenic is much better built than the Picasso, but also much more expensive. The engine is responsive, but I find gear changes awkward compared to the Furby's. Fuel consumption in the Scenic seems to be heavy - 40 mpg compared to 45 in teh Picasso. I would not go for another Picasso personally. Don't know enough about your other options to comment, other than the Multipla is supposed to be terrific - just don't be seen driving it.
  13. Christ this thread has altered! Started with a question on self-build or buy new and ended up with everyone going all techie and showing off! BHuilding yourself doesn't mean cheaper but gives freedom to choose spec, but buying new offers good value and warranties if all goes wrong.
