Stabilisation Control (ESC) and Engine shaking
Hi, This happened to me a few days ago. Happily driving along when suddenly the dasboard showed ESC/ESP light and the car went into what felt like limp mode. The whole car was shaking and I managed to get it off the road. Turned the car off, opened the bonnet to see if I could see anything obvious and couldn't. Decided to start the car again and it was all completely back to normal. all lights disappeared and it was running fine. I've been driving it for a few days now with no issues. I recently changed the oil + filter, front pads + discs, air + pollen filter. Spark plugs were changed about 15,000 miles ago as I remember having the same problem before. Waiting to get my hands on a code reader to see what the issue could be.

Will a 19" wheel be too big?
Worth taking a look on THIS THREAD and also check out the PROJECTS section of this forum to see what others have done and how it looks. I've lowered my Rapid Sport using the Eibach springs (30mm drop) and put 18s on, I should really take some pics at some point. I had the 17" Rays before and the ride wasn't great to begin with, with my current setup it's a little worse but it does look good! IMO 19s won't look right.

1.2TSI Crankcase Breather Hose One Way Valve Replacement Guide
From memory it does require some force, but it should come off eventually. Not sure what you would lubricate to get it off though either. Did you try wriggling it around, maybe knocking it gently from below too?

Swing radio - mp3/bt audio how to skip songs?
When I had my Swing unit (2014/63 plate Rapid Sport) you couldn't skip songs using the HU or the left stalk buttons. The interface is very basic and there's no control - it doesn't even pause playing if you switch source to CD/radio either. You could try a BT remote similar to something like this (eBay link)? I had something similar many years ago for a BMW I had which didn't have BT but I wanted to play songs through the AUX and be able to skpi tracks. It was called Kensington LiquidAUX and connected to your phone via BT, then you mount the remote somewhere in your car.

Timing chain or throttle valve?
Two things to check (if haven't done so already): The correct oil filter has been fitted There's no extra seals in the oil filter housing I had this same issue twice - the first time I'd left the old rubber seal in the housing and I had this rickety sound at idle. Didn't think much of it and left it but when I came to the next oil change I noticed it - removed the extra seal and the noise was gone. The second time the dealer gave me the wrong oil filter by accident, I had the same sound but also low oil pressure warnings. Switched the filter to the correct one over and noise gone. Some more info here: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/519087-low-oil-pressure-after-oil-change-suspicious-mechanic/. Hope this helps

Low oil pressure after oil change, Suspicious mechanic
Last update - the Skoda dealer gave me the correct filter, no questions asked which was good. Got home, covered the engine and alternator with rags and replaced the filter, I added a little more fresh oil into the housing. Turned the car on and problem solved, it's now as quiet as a mouse - no error codes on Carista, nothing on my dash. Many thanks again

Low oil pressure after oil change, Suspicious mechanic
So I got the wife to check the invoice (which has the correct part number) and the old filter which I left in a bag in the recycling temporarily and the part numbers are the same. The one I put on my car on the weekend has a different number. The dealer will swap it out for me. I'll give it a go without draining, may be a little messy but I think I would just take it off, catch any oil and put it back into the housing before putting the new filter in. Wish me luck! Also thanks @Breezy_Pete for the help, much appreciated.

Low oil pressure after oil change, Suspicious mechanic
I think they've given me the wrong filter. I've just been to my car to check and the one on there is part number 04E 115 561 AC. From the pictures at the bottom it's "flat" with a thin rubber seal on the outside. However I've just been looking at other filters and I think I should have been given 03C 115 561. This one has the two rubber rings protruding outside of the housing. I was given this by a Skoda dealer and didn't notice myself when putting it on. Will give them a ring now and see what they say. I'm assuming I need to re-drain all the oil out to replace it? There's no shortcut? Any long-term damage being done in the meantime, I'm hoping I can get home and sort it in the morning before work. Oil changes are easy but getting the undertray out is the hardest part, especially trying to get to the very back two screws which are nearly in the middle of the vehicle)! I don't have an oil extractor either - I would use it in this circumstance but prefer to do the traditional way to get rid of gunk.

Low oil pressure after oil change, Suspicious mechanic
Hi, I changed my oil on my Rapid on the weekend, same engine (1.2 TFSI 105PS) and it's done 71k miles. I normally use Castrol Edge Titanium but this time I used the Long Life stuff. Once I started the engine I got a loud rattling at idle, I'm used to some rattling but this was noticeable. I then took it for a drive and at speed (above about 30mph) there was no rattling at all however the oil pressure light came on for about 30 seconds (flashed up about 3 times with the beeps) then disappeared again. Oil temp is fine, no OBD2 codes relating to oil etc. This morning I drove to work which involves motorway, thought a good drive might clear things up. Everything was fine until I got to the office and the oil pressure light came on again - one was just once then disappeared then again it stayed on for a couple of cycles then again disappeared. Not sure where to go with it from here - I've made the mistake of leaving the seals from the filter in before so I made sure I took them all out before inserting the new one. I've checked the levels of the oil and they're fine, so there's no leaks. I've been doing oil changes for years so this one has me stumped. Anything else I could have missed? Difference in oil causing it? Thanks in advance

Leak possibly Fuel Rail?
I'm nowhere near an expert on engines but could it be the breather hose? Maybe check THIS THREAD?

2014 Rapid elegance swing radio upgrade
There's a few threads in the How To section - one by me HERE for example where I switched my Swing for a Columbus. Another one HERE too. Generally the easiest route is to go with another Skoda HU like a Columbus / Amundsen as you would retain your Maxidot and steering wheel controls without any more wiring looms. However these options don't have Apple CarPlay / Android Auto so if those are important i.e. for Google Maps / Waze then you have to go aftermarket. There's some threads on here where members have done this so they can share their experiences.

Media player not connecting
I'd try a different phone just to completely make sure it's not a phone issue.

Armrest replacement from Aliexpress
No, I didn't have the OEM armrest so my Rapid looks like the picture you've posted.
