As title the wheels are in excellent condition I will add pics later one does have a 2in scuff on one of the spokes the tyres are all very good not sure what they go for and i hate ****Bay so thought £500 can wrap and post if needed http://s136.photobucket.com/user/richash1/slideshow/OCTAVIA%20ALLOYS
  6. Love this colour mate, i was originally looking for one in this colour looks very tidy
  7. first i'm getting coilovers (hopefully next week) then changing the wheels for 19in but can't choose I like VMR's or BBS CH-R's but on the other hand i also like BBS LM's but i don't know what colour either silver or gunmetal but then again I am a panel beater/painter so could always sort that. The stereo is being changed for a Columbus unit
  8. Just thought I would post a couple of pics I took today after picking it up I have to say I am very impressed with it at the moment, however it won't be staying like this for long the wheels and stereo will be for sale straight away well as soon as i pick out there replacements just can't choose at the moment.
  9. never done that as we normally can't get the movement needed to make a difference to the camber, subframes as a rule don't move far or at all due to location pins etc, I have got a bit from undoing the bolts on the bottom of the strut where it meets the knuckle before but not all cars have that. If this came into us i would be replacing the strut but thats only my view
  10. What would moving the subframe do? the cambers are both neg. the only way you could get the camber to move enough would be with adjustable top mounts subframes have very limited movement and normally only enough to give the caster a little tweak.
  11. the lh camber won't help even though its only 14mins from tolerance its 35 mins away from the other side which will cause it to do what its doing may have a worn top mount or you need a shock
  12. Yeah its very basic defo Ed the leg China jobbie which will do more bad then good. Good luck tomorrow keep us posted
  13. I have an immaculate set if 18in Neptunes if your interested?
  14. hunter alignment gear is ok we use beissbarth as we need to be able to print the results for insurance companies you need to make sure its capable of testing all angles as well as the rear the gear you had it put on sounds like a "Ed China" job which just sets the toe to 0
  15. easiest way to check the caster if you measure the gap between the rear if the front tyre to the wing (just with your fingers will be fine) it should be no more then half a finger difference left side to right this is only a rough check (before the shot down comments come about wing gaps bla bla bla...) the other thing it could be is a worn bush we get this quite abit if the rear bushes are warn
  16. posted at the same time lol so the problem was before you had the work done
  17. in which case i read it wrong sorry and my comments are useless  I read it as WONKY WHEELS...................so I had 2 tyres fitted and an alignment? sorry
  18. di they give you a print out? if so could you post a copy on here could be a caster issue have you gone down any big pot holes or bumped onto any kurbs?
  19. i'll have you know it took me ages to think up that user name lol
