Try using scented screenwash. It bloody stinks. Even when diluted. It smells ok when actually coming through the jets but not when your head is over the bottle!

That usage is higher than their "acceptable" amount. Which I think is 0.5l per 1000km. But your happy and car is ok. So all is well.

They were already at .70 so left them. Theyre getting pulled again after 500miles so may regap them then.

They were the plugs that were in it. Changed them for the 7s as they worked well on my hatch. Got denso ones recommended by you George ready for next time.

My new car is a 2011 cave engine with 35k. Not very good at the art of plugs. I thought the white was a bad thing. Cyl3 as im looking from front is different to others. A lot more oily. Car isnt using excessively though. Not sure if I have a members ex car or not.

Check behind your rear lights. There are some vent thimgs behind. Make sure they arent blocked or out of place. Thats what caused mine to do it.

Sorry to hijack slightly, but does the amundsen+ have bluetooth built in? I have a unit in mine but not sure if its amundsen or amundsen+ it looks the same as above? Just as I cant get my bluetooth to work, even though im told that its 'bluetooth prepared' whatever that means. They said I need a parrot system to link it to satnav unit. That doesnt make much sense to me.

I want the rim bands myself. As they are locked into place by the tyre. I have some rim blades at home in blue. Havent fitted them as im worried about the sticky stuff giving up and the strip getting tangled somewhere or giving my paint a hammering.
