Have a few light scratches on piano black centre console drawer lid. Is there a best way to remove them?

Some detailers will use compound with a 1” head and rotary polisher but you need to know what you’re doing. Worth trying some polishing compound with microfibre cloths for on and off. Needs to be proper compound not just a hand polish product which is more likely fillers and a wax coating.
