Aidan, won't your 1.2 TD's be 5x112 PCD? -
Thanks for that!

Fitted my 312's a while ago and they are now rattling, did my drop links because I thought it might be them and a previous mechanic at my work mentioned I didn't have any springs fitted and that was probably the noise and low and behold the drop links made no difference and were a complete ball ache to remove! Just looking to see if anyone has a part number cause I can't find them on eBay.. Cheers

Just to see if anyone is interested on here before I eventually get adverts up on eBay etc. As said Samsung Chronos series 7 laptop with the following spec: Samsung Series 7 Chronos 700Z5CH - 15.6" - Core i7 3635QM - Windows 8 - 8 GB RAM - 1 TB HDD Operating System Windows 8 Processor Intel Core i7 (3rd Gen) 3635QM / 2.4 GHz ( 3.4 GHz ) / 6 MB Cache Memory 8 GB DDR3 Storage 1 TB HDD / 5400 rpm + 8 GB SSD cache Optical Drive DVD SuperMulti Display 15.6" LED backlight 1600 x 900 / HD+ Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M / Intel HD Graphics 4000 - 1 GB GDDR5 Networking 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 , Gigabit Ethernet Battery 8-cell Colour Silver Dimensions (WxDxH) 36.21 cm x 23.85 cm x 2.39 cm Weight 2.4 kg Only had this max a year and a half and is in great condition. Would you recommend this for a beginner or would the DAS Pro be more suitable?? -
Does 205 55 16in tyres go onto the fabia vrs
JH3894 replied to Joe41's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
tyre leader and camskill are definitely the cheapest sites I've came across for tyres. That's obviously not fitted, my garage charges £10 a tyre for fitting and new valves -
I've had mine on the front for a while now, probably around 5-6k they seem to wear unevenly, inside of mine is nearly bald. Might need my tracking done right enough if nobody else is having this problem.

How much for your black grille surround?

DMF's are used because they are better at damping out the rattle from the car compared to SMF's. So if you replace with a SMF you'll get a rattle. Have a search through the forum and you'll see loads of people talking about it who have replaced the flywheel with a single mass.
-
If you replace the DMF with a SMF then you'll get a rattle at idle, just so you know!

Pristine Nismo GT-Rs get a bit rarer...

Braking heavily going into a corner is always dangerous in my book -
Mine does this occasionally as well, but again, it goes away instantly as soon as as AC or back window heater goes on. Can't see it being down to DMF for us all

A mapped GTI takes it up to the mps' power figures roughly anyway, can't see them being worlds apart performance wise. GTI seems to be a much more reassuring drive when it comes to the twisty bits.

Well first of all where did you go from there haha? But yeah I was looking at the MK3 I think, seem good cars just the reviews of them being a bit hard to drive briskly on B roads put me off a bit as my commute to work is all B road! I'm between that at the Golf since they both come with sat nav and all the other goodies that the Honda doesn't!

I have a vRS at the moment but looking at going petrol as I would be moving closer to work than I am at the moment and diesel probably wouldn't that much cheaper considering the extra price at the pumps. I have looked at Mazda3 MPS' but they seem a bit too raw and the torque steer gets a really bad write up. Also looked at - don't shoot me - Type R's with the LSD as standard but the spec available on the MK6 for not too much more ££'s pushes me more towards it

Thinking of swapping in the Fabia for one of these depending on how my job situation goes within the next year or so. Anyone got any experience of them? Cheers!
