Just looking at the sponsors on here and most are 22+ for fully comp! Adrian Flux seems to have a fair few bad reviews and customer service according to people on here! Just wondering if theres anyone whos a similar age and has a modded fab vrs. It's only lowered at the moment but Elephant wont insure me if i want a Roll Bar or Strut Braces. So just looking at other options if and when i decide to delve a bit more into modifying it. Either that or ill just have to wait till im a bit older :(

I'd be happy to see about a group buy also, i'd probably go for the cheaper option though. Would also want details about the view from the Police on legality because you can pass MOT if you dont have auto levellers and washers but police can still fine you!

Could someone give me a link for these? Looked on Ebay and on DEPO website but dunno what ones are the right ones! Also I see some people have had problems with them misting up etc? I take it these are road legal also? (hate to start that debate again but it has to be asked!) I want Xenons on my car for the amount of miles i do on A/B roads to work etc, but i'd rather they be completely road legal and not pay ££££. I take it Octavio OEM ones dont fit? Don't see many people selling the OEM Fabia vRS ones on here

I dunno i just assumed the process was, wash, clay, polish wax then seal but i suppose your wax is acting as your seal really?

Thanks for the help everyone, not been very active to be honest just lurking in the background taking in information haha! Only had it since August and its completely stock at the moment. Whenever i get the chance ill get the front grille surround off and colour code that. Order a splitter from seat and get a rear arb. Then its remap time! and also maybe an alloy refurb along the way...

I was of the opinion that if you left the standard shocks in then they wouldn't last as long as they would always be under some sort of compression due to the lower springs? Might also bottom out no?

Any suggestion on a sealant? Just chose that cause i've heard Poorboys are good products!

Cheers Jase, Decision made. Ill spend the extra cash on some detailing stuff for when the better weather comes around! and maybe a RARB but depends what the damage is to my insuance. They're only wanting an extra £19 a month on top for lowering it so we'll see!

Johno you keep popping up just as I think i've made a decision. Jase, AP's are adjustable though are they not? Actually have no idea what to do now haha! The drop provided by the 25mm AP's does look about right for me though and i can almost guarantee that coilovers will neved get adjusted again once they are on so the extra £170 odd doesn't really seem worth it tbh

I've already had my front bushes done recently. Ill probably go for the AP S&S then and a RARB

If i was going to go for springs i'd do shocks as well as i have the money there to do it. Only decision now is AP S&S or Coilies as everyone goes on about them and its only another £15 than the FK's

I'm tempted by the AP coilies because everyone raves about them, whats the ride like? My drive to work is motorway then a very fun drive down the A84 from Stirling to Killin. If any of you are ever in and around that area of Scotland i highly recommend it!

I've heard the RS3's still have quite soft side walls like the RS2's had a problem with I believe? I'll be going for those Hancooks or some Kumho Ecsta Le Sport KU39's

Okay, recently won some money on the football, Thanks Mr Hill Looking to finally lower my little furb from its current 4x4 state. I do 100 miles a day to get to work and back so want something thats not too stiff and thats why I'm considering the springs and shocks as they would be more comfortable and still provide an amount on lowering, looking at the Vogtland 25mm drop set from DPM. However everyone raves about the vRS on coilovers so i thought id ask this question yet again as its kinda suited to my needs. Coilovers im willing to stretch to the FK highsports at £385 but no more than that from DPM. So Damain if you're about or anyone with an input it would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.
