  1. I pick up my citigo tomorrow and after the dual controls have been installed I have 2 driving lessons. I get the livery applied at the weekend. I'm glad the waiting is finally over.
  2. just taken renewal at £380 with the spouse as a named driver and 1 claim from 2011.
  3. what quotes were given for driving instructor insurance cover?
  4. My car is now in this country, so its going to be 17 or 18 weeks. The only option specified, Spare Wheel. Model SE Greentech 3 door in Red.
  5. what happened to Lincolnshire? there seems to be an omission for the 2nd largest county in the UK, which area are we in?
  6. Does this get in the way of using the gears or handbrake? My car will be driven by learners
  7. I have ordered an SE Greentech, but then my car is only for driving lessons, the wife has the family car.
  8. Yes, and great fun to drive as well. I had a demo car in Aug for a long weekend and they wouldn't let me keep it! It seems a long time since I paced my order.
  9. i am hoping to have my CitiGo in a couple of weeks. i am changing from a hyundai i20 1.25L to the 60PS SE GreenTech. i'll soon be able to add some real comparison feedback to how well pupils change to the CitiGo.
  10. Now been told its being built next week
  11. the only thing i noticed was the 75PS was a little quieter / smoother sounding, i ordered a 60PS SE Greentech as most of my driving will be in town.
  12. That's why my next car was not the new i10, i am having my CitiGo built this week (Hopefully)
  13. I think it will be a great car for driving lessons. I spend most of my day in city traffic. Hoping my car is built next week.
  14. I hate my current PCP because my current car is a lemon. It will cost me £1500 to get rid of my current car for a citigo, I'm having a contract hire this time. Yes, a PCP does give lower payments. But it's a scam to prevent you from changing your car before the end of the agreement.
  15. unless mpg is an issue and then the citigo is a clear winner. i'm trading in a hyundai for the citigo because of the mpg. The new i10 looks good if that's your preference?
  16. Just give me a year or 2 of driving lessons covering 30'000 miles a year and i'll report back on how reliable the stop/start system will be. i'm hoping for much improved economy. on the plus side, i'm on a contract which includes service/maintenance and tyres. so if the engine does need replacing,
  17. for real MPG figures use Fuelly or Honest John's Real Mpg pages. i have not used the 'Official' Mpg claims for many years, but this did not prevent me being stung by the poor mpg of my current i20. this has been the worst version of the hyundai 1.25L Kappa engine that i have owned. i'm only getting 43mpg, so will be looking forward to getting over 50mpg with my greentech CitiGo,
  18. my car was ordered on the 6th Nov, on business contract hire. i have been given build week 6. so that's seems to be the average 16 weeks. Roll on March and my new '14' plate CitiGo SE GreenTech.
  19. i think my citigo will be the easiest to spot, when i get it...
  20. i'd better get on to my dealer, I ordered the week after you
  21. i'm moving from Hyundai to skoda because of bad fuel economy, getting just 42mpg from my i20. just waiting for my citigo greentech!
  22. its been 4 weeks and I don't have a build date. although I am getting a business lease instead of a private sale.
  23. Yes, as a driving instructor its handy to be able to keep the windows open a bit when driving slowly or explaining what to do.
