Got our headlight bulbs upgraded today at Halfords.....(don't think they had done a mk2 fabia TDi before) left side came out and went back in a treat the drivers side was a little more tricky because of unbolting the fuel filter to gain access to the back of the light unit, after getting the bulb out and replacing the new one the hardest bit was replacing the bolts to hold the fuel filters bracket after several attempts he went and got someone who had smaller hands than himself...lol anyway all bolted in and headlights are a lot better now, we got Halfords own brand (BOGOF) and are 120% brighter I also think I may lift the beams a little bit but we will see how it go's......

I'll have a look now.....the link for the spotted is a entire section just thought it'd make more sense to have it in one thread instead of opening a new post each time.....weird that never seen that before must take up a load of space on the forum servers....

I'd be telling them to sort it out and find a set of the monte wheels as ur ordering a car it should be as spec'd or u can ask for a discount as the car isn't as u ordered it.......if it happened to me I'd be a bit miffed

OK pulled the fuse on my DRL's today as stated in my manual......all's well no more DRL's.....I'm a happy bunny now and can get on and enjoy the car.....

Sorry u feel this way but I'm sure one of the mods could tidy it up by removing the photos.................there again as Otaylor said the thread had died a death....if u hadn't noticed....

Well on the bike forums I'm on theres a section where u can put up wot else u ride or drive or fly or even float.......so it seems just talking cars is so boring...

We looked at a Vrs but when we found out there was no manual gear box option, well we didn't bother I think that's why it hasn't sold many when u compare to other cars in it's group who have manual options.......to complicated for it's own good like the new clio sport thing 5 th gear didn't rate it because of it overly complicated gear box just my 2 pence worth...

This was one I did a while back, as I lost my mojo which is always the way when building bikes....Before and after photos Started with this And ended up with this...all modded

Right no more DRL's for me took the fuse out like it states in my owners manual.......no adverse affects car still runs ok and everything still works ok so I'm a happy boy now so I can now get on and enjoy the car....thank phac...

I've had 2 twins and I'm building a parallel twin now for the Mrs, a basket case we bought, which is now looking brand new lol and I'm thinking of getting a cheap Ducati 900 s to build a cafe racer type of bike, love twins, but it just happens that I have a IL4 at the moment the zrx is a very grunty bike and yes the stock seat like any bike is ****e easy to get sorted

Before that I had a 1050 speed triple great torquey bike but the seat was ****e after 2 hrs....

And this is wot I ride......(if u want me to take it down just say so.... ) it's a Kawasaki ZRX1200R

I don't fall off in corners and also I have no chicken strips either tyres are off the edges... also I'm old skool and don't do the leather suits either good gortex jacket, decent gloves, decent lid, and jeans with para boots.....then I'm not looking like a sweaty idiot...

That's wot I thought when I saw my uncles red monte with the grey onyx seats, because when u have black headlining, black door panels, black dashboard, black carpets and then black n grey seats it's a bit on the gloomy side hence why we went with the red onyx seats as it breaks up the gloominess a treat.....

Perhaps we should have a "Show us ur bikes" section....lol seems a few of us on here, maybe past and present bikes

I use to ride in all sorts of weather but now it's from beginning of march til the end of october and I cover some 5.5k to 6k per summer especially up here in Scotland on the west coast brilliant roads.....nuff said

To me it's a funky wee car that we'll enjoy while we have it, but in 3 yrs it'll be swapped for something else that is new n funky......I'm not brand loyal person to be honest, enjoy it while u have it.....

To be honest I didn't buy our Monte because I thought it was fast, we bought our car because it looks great, if I want to go fast I've got a 1200 cc bike for just the job

I don't think it's going to be called the Monte Carlo range or wot ever, but it'll just have the Monte trim package without the badge.....which I think will be very smart it'll probably be something like the DS range with Citroen

Wot the red stiching on the steering wheel hand brake and gear shift gater...?? thought all monte's had this all the different colour ones I've seen n test drove have all had that......even the shiny primer ones.......if ur on about the red onyx seat colours then I've also head from the dealer that other than red cars u could get the red onyx seats on black monte's and white monte's but none else

I forgot about m8's next car after his RS1600i..........and I think the monte would have a right problem keeping up with this hot hatch my m8 had the phase 2 Renault 5 GT Turbo, feck me it was quick til he got it modded by superchips or summit like that then it was 155bhp and by fook it was rapid.....lol
