AFAIK the power on USB comes trough the wires at the extreme sides of the connector. You can probably cut it and measure it to make sure. Don't know if the wires inside the cable can be wired properly as usually they are very thin..

Mk2 was a big improvement from skoda compared with Mk1. There would have to be a very big difference in price between the two to chose the Mk1 even for the same year.

Well not a common car by any means but just more popular than the ST.. which clearly shows that between the two the VRs is the winner.

It looks very nice, good luck with it. One of the very few cars I really like in white..

There are few hatchback STs around here but I dont think i ever seen a ST estate on the streets.. The VRs is definitely more popular..

I replaced the CFL bulbs (11W) with LEDs ones (3W) in the kitchen (8 bulbs in total), the wife didn't like them so I took them back and still using the CFLs. The LEDs were way more expensive as well.. So if you are thinking of switching to LEDs you should try them first.
