I bought mine at the end of January (60 plate DSG) with 36,700 miles on the clock. It has now just topped 40K and needed less that 0.5l. My daily commute is a 60 mile round trip, mostly dual carriageway with weekend 'enthusiastic' use. It uses less that my previous Golf GT The car overnights in a centrally-heated garage - maybe this is reducing oil usage due to fewer 'cold' starts. Perhaps I'm spoiling it!

Good Evening All, I have just taken the plunge and bought my first Skoda. Having been a serial Golf buyer, I am trading in my Golf GT for a 2010 Octavia VRS DSG. I collect the car on Friday morning and have taken the day off work to get to know it a bit better. Fingers crossed for some half decent weather :sun: (some hope)! Looking forward to interacting with the Briskoda community and learning more about the world of performance Skodas.
