  1. Here's the guide - http://www.upownersclub.co.uk/forum/howto-change-the-battery-in-the-maps-and-more_topic6940.html?KW=maps+and+more+battery Here's the battery - https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F291620488518
  2. From memory the diameters between bolts is the same as the mark 3 Fabia, so in theory the mark 3 Fabia seats might fit, but only the front, don't quote me, you'll also need to code out the airbag warning light as the airbag is built into the side of the seat
  3. It's goodbye to the Fabia, here's a last photo of the car yesterday, I hate to say it but I'd completely fallen out of love with it. Here's the new car that's replaced it
  4. Who knows, trading it in for the Citigo
  5. It's been a great run with the Fabia Saloon, but all things must come to an end.. https://www.meadens.co.uk/index.php?id=5&car=181571
  6. Photos came in from Steve yesterday and a friend thought it'd be funny to photoshop one
  7. No clue at this stage Still need to prep the Citigo myself, as in fit another seat and find time to sort out the rear suspension
  8. It shouldn't be illuminated, it would be an easy retrofit, the Polo 6r switch is the same, as I'm sure others would be
  9. Depends on the tyre combo, when I had 175 it was about 4-5 mph under, with 205 tyres it's more closer to 2-3 mph under
  10. I've called him and let him know you'll be late? Guessing that's what you meant!
  11. Southam I'm gonna have to drop out I'm afraid! I might still rock up, but I've done no work on the car so expect nothing different to last year and the Fabia is too poorly to risk taking on the rollers!
  12. First removal is always difficult, the side trim that's removed in the tutorial, it becomes much easier to remove the switch if you're pushing from behind
  13. I may well have a vRS airbox.. I'd need to check and dig out but pretty sure I purchased one for experimental purposes and never actually ended up using it, I'll be doing a run to the unit where it should be it the next couple of weeks so I'll try to have a look for you
  14. Splice into the interior dome light nice and easy really, here's a link to some cheap but good footwell lights - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00C2OT10W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

  18. Bit of TLC done over the weekend, you'll remember in this post: All the wiring dangling about the place, this was for the W8 light and the interior light as well as the dash cam front camera and GPS camera, all that wiring is no more Used some cheap sticky back wiring clips to tuck the dashcam wiring out the way as a temporary fix, those with a keen eye will see there's a new dashcam, I finally replaced the absolute rubbish Koonlung front and rear camera with a used DOD RC500S, which is the same one I run in the Fabia There's a bit of foam in the rear that's used to hold the rear seatbelt wiring in place, I finally got rid of this and took the no going back route of chopping back the rear seat belt wiring itself, this'll eventually be taken back as far as possible. Before: After: You can also see the new seat mount on the passenger side that's fitted, I need custom side mounts made up as there an inch shorter than I need them to be. Last photo for you, you'll spot the stupid and useless tow hook that I added ages ago has finally gone, this'll be replaced with either a strap or a tow eye, probably drilled straight into the rear crash bar, the rear bumper will need to come off for that
