  1. No, definitely not. Stayed for couple of weeks in Birmingham last year. Plain as grannys chest.
  2. It works only up to speed of 30 km/h and then switches to normal mode. No worries. Have tried hill descent on very steep slope, works just fine. Also worked fine, when got into swampy place with my trailer. Just like locking the differentials.
  3. It`s not. Offroad mode not only activates hill descent assist if neccessary but it turns also all direct driving assists (ABS, ESC, ASR, EDS and I believe also Haldex) into off road mode.
  4. The same reason OBD11 has only Android app - Apple geek designed one thing and Android geek another.
  5. Solution is to buy new Octavia, Scala or Kamiq, which has MIB 3 headunits. Kodiaq has MIB 2,5. No workaround either, been looking for a while.
  6. By the way, your 190 PS TSI emissions are higher than 190 PS TDI ones.
  7. Fuel prices in here: dieel 0,999 98 petrol 1,309 (95 is spoiled with bio additives) Doing average 85 000 km annually there`s no question which engine I will run now and in the future. Even with fake speaker behind my back. NB! Audi RS petrol line has fake sound boosters too.
  8. Not sure, but I suppose Seat is using the same hardware as all the cheaper VW cars (VW; Skoda) and this might be VC working together with MIB 3 Headunit, which was first introduced this year on Scala.
  9. Yes, but this is not exactly a technical documentation rather than some drawing for masses. After all, all this doesn`t matter.
  10. If so, then why all Kodiaqs have one track, but RS has anothr, 1 mm wider track? In this case producer would give the tolrance of tracks, as they do with other measurements. As an engineer from flange to flange sounds more logical than from center to center.
  11. Still, I seem to be right. This Wiki page is slightly misguiding. There is more reading. 17" vs 20" on Kodiaq, OEM wheel sizes and offsets. https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wheel1=215-65-17X6.5ET38&wheel2=235-45-20X7.5ET43&fcl=50mm&wcl=30mm&scl=50mm&sr=0mm Scroll down and compare the figures. 235 vs 215 tyre. If track width was measured from centre to centre, supposing the track is the same, on all Kodiaqs, the tyre in this case was closer to suspension by 10 mm, to keep the same track width along the whole wheel size line. But is 15 mm.
  12. That`s interesting, good to know. My knoledge on this subject is based on old soviet standards.
  13. Yes, it does, but AFAIK official measurmet for track is taken from the point where the rim meets the axle.
  14. Track is always measured by the certain points on the axle. Wheels has nothing to do with it.
  15. Bluefin / Superchips did the same, I had one on my Mondeo about 10 years back.
  16. Is it the price only for remap? Seems expensive, considering you only get extra 30 HP and 40 Nm. And not even a remap, but chip. https://www.abt-sportsline.com/tuning/configurator/#51656690!CE6583A I have BSR remap. + 52 HP and 91 Nm. 587 EUR with OBD device and you can do all by yourself. https://en.bsr.se/tuning-kits/t/4225/skoda-kodiaq-20bitdi-240hp-2017-2020-cuaa
  17. Usually you do not have to remove the ECU, remap is performed via OBD port. https://en.bsr.se/tuning-kits/t/3502/skoda-kodiaq-20tdi-190hp-2017-2020-dfha
  18. Appears there is a difference. Kodiaq has front/rear track 1575 / 1565 mm, except RS, which has 1579 / 1567. But 4 / 2 mm do not make any difference
