I've done what I can, it's back on Wednesday so they can check the underside. Unsure if I should undo the n249 bypass but I think I'm ok from what I've read. I'm looking at Vagcom stuff but unsure on what I'm reading. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Think this is what I'm after ? http://www.gsfcarparts.com/873vg0740 Would this be any good or is it best to stay away from eBay ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Skoda-Octavia-window-regulator-electric-system-front-right-/131154834387?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e896ff3d3

Went to put my windows down and about 2/3rds down a big grinding noise and came to a stop. Bugga regulator, I knew it. It went back up with a horrible grinding noise till it fully closed. Now I'm not going to use it as I know it will plummet downwards on next use, maybe. Big sticker on button now to remind me not to use it. As it was still functional is it still best to replace the whole regulator ? Or could the wire have just come off and be put back on ? Cheers all. Matt Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
