Many thanks Dave - Is it possible that we could use this group to bind together to exert maximum pressure on Skoda to prioritise a fix for this fault. I suggest it can't really be such a big deal if there are cars previously delivered without the fault. Yes quite agree this issue must have existed at concept and it is pretty disgusting that they haven't prioritised a fix for it and leave us all without support. Interestingly I've seen a comment somewhere that there are similar issues on the Golf 8 which presumably is running with the same Infotainment application. I'll try my dealership again today to try to progress it and keep you updated.

Completed the update this morning all to no avail - sadly the issues still persist.

Being an avid caravanner we have used a Garmin Camper which is route specific for a prescribed unit (size, weight etc) however cannot use it now as it requires a 12v supply and when connected to the USB-C port it immediately drops into Computer mode in the belief that it is connected to a computer. It would be preferable to use Garmin thus avoiding wifi data usage charges. Has anyone any idea please?

Hi everyone, just really to put a marker down I have the same issue on my new Octavia. It refuses to accept an entry against Miles in units and repeatedly defaults to Km although it is showing Gals UK and Speed in MPH. Awaiting verdict from Dealership!! This is our 3rd Octavia since 2013 and have never experienced so many faults!!

I am also now getting issues with unit setting - it will not accept miles just keeps defaulting to Km.

Sadly I am experiencing exactly the same error / fault notifications on my new Octavia SE L First Edition DSG. Happened fairly regularly and reported to Dealer who said it was down to the high sensitivity of the sensors - yes. Could be the bad weather. I explained that it happens on a beautiful sunny day so that negates that excuse. Like comments here I don't think I am being unreasonable to expect it to work especially in inclement conditions when it is most valuable. Obviously a fault which Skoda will need to address with some urgency. Certainly it is unacceptable. Will update as and when I can obtain some assistance from Skoda.

Is there anyone in South Devon area who can re-code my Mk3 Octavia following removal of towbar and wiring. I'm getting the error ACC Not available, Parking Pilot Not available. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
