  3. Oh it gets about but it's in good hands now
  4. Cheers Tom fingers crossed it matches then
  5. Yea there should be a crush washer that goes on top of the turbo then the big spacer then the water pipe then another crush washer then the bolt through it all and tighten quite tight as the washers have to crush a little bit
  6. Ha ha don't ger me started with water leaks, there is the big spacer on the top water feed on these, yea well I forgot it filled up with my new coolant mixed with water to hear it **** out the water feed all over my dads garage floor a was sick
  7. I'm on my phone so can't see all the info on the right
  8. Looking good front needs to go a tad lower or the back needs raising
  9. Is the car remaped ? Check your egr, glow plugs are only needed when it's really cold outside like minus degrees, by what you described its just unburnt fuel coming out the back, I had a pd150 seat leon and it used to kick out black smoke on cold start ups as it was mapped and had a straight through miltek
  10. Nasty hole mate and my misses would kill me if I done that to her front room
  11. What were the blades like ? Still in tact I hope if not you could have bits of the turbo in your engine
  12. Check your egr valve and give your turbo a Mr muscle clean as well will make the world of difference
  13. Had something similar on my pd130 golf, replaced the injector wiring still there, tried cleaning the injectors still there ended up replacing the injectors in the end and sold the car, ended up being the turbo had gone so had to replace that out of my own pocket and all 4 injectors needed replacing and warranty wouldn't pay up I was sick
  14. I hope so as I want to colour code the bump strips on the doors and on the bumpers and paint the molitec air vents on the front so time to pop to my paint guy
  15. This happened to me with my micra (yes I know why would some one want to pinch a micra) they ended up taking my boot build (which wasn't light) they even took the 47p in copper that was in the ash tray really annoys me
  16. For a silver octavia 03 plate Cheers Ken
  17. Well I have a few reoccurring faults that I must sort… 17584/P1176/004470 - Bank1: O2 (Lambda) Correction Behind Catalyst: Control Limit Reached 16396/P0012/000018 - Bank 1: Camshaft A (Intake): Advance Setpoint not Reached (Over-Retarded) 17705/P1297/004759 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!) 17704/P1296/004758 - Error in Mapped Cooling System 17840/P1432/005170 - Secondary Air Injection Solenoid Valve (N112): Open Circuit (Think the resistor has gone) So a few things to sort grrrrr
  18. Wow, what a build mate, took me all week to read from start to finish, defo pinching some ideas estate ftw!!! Didn't really like my silver estate but now I do, now where's my bank card…
  19. Sai removal ? Where you getting the second hand turbo from ? I have two sitting in my dads garage that need rebuilding but don't know if any one would buy them
  20. Done it all from the top mate, only thing I was under the car for was to take the exhaust off and losen the tip. Take the manifold off the engine and the top of the turbo it's easy to get access that way, if you weren't soooooo far away I could have lent a hand Cheers Ken
  21. Oh dear hope it's nothing bad looks good so far
  22. Yea sounds like it's the turbo then mate check for play in the shaft
  23. Cheers mate yea was a bit of a nightmare but getting there slowly
  24. See I was like that but living 5 mins away from work it seemed pointless having a diesel as I would just have to keep constantly cleaning the turbo out and oil changes
