I think APR means that at least half the people must get the advertised rate... have to wonder which 50% of the population the bank considered a better credit risk than your other half mate! Bizarre...

If you specified satnav on your hire contract then I'd suggest returning the car for another one with working satnav!

Sounds like you just preferred an Audi... The gearbox on the A3 and the Octavia would be identical so I don't see that as a reason for not taking the Skoda? OP hope you get a good deal on the L&K! Or should that be a 'superb' forum? Just saying hi as I have an Octavia III 1.4 TSI Elegance on the way, should be here September for a very early 64 plate. Elegance is already a great spec so I have resisted temptation to add a load of extras as it would start climbing towards VRS prices :p The forum has given me loads of info on the car which helped me make the important decisions like engine, gearbox and of course colour! Already been looking around at what I should be doing with the car once I get it, hopefully will be posting more in future
