Finally got it to work via USB stick. What’s this about a 2019 update? Is that different to what I’ve just downloaded last week?!

Can I update via a USB stick? All the info on here mentions about SD cards, but the update menu on the infotainment states SD/USB

No windows. I also reformatted the SD card to FAT32 before copying on to the disc. I’m not sure how good a SD card is though. It’s a 64gb class 10 but I’m using a micro one in an adapter.

Doh uodated through the Skoda portal. It recognises as as soon as I put the SD card in there’s an update, but then when going to update it times out and does this.

Yep the August date confused me too. On the email it states 9th January. That at was going to be my next question, putting the VIN in the website. To get the map updates, that is free even after 12 months? So it’s just the convenience of doing it through the infotainment?

Received an email that some of the services will need a renewal. Quite pricey and that’s with 30% off! Do many renew? Only handy thing for for me is route import and I guess map update download, although still not updated yet.

Real life MPG with my DSG 150 diesel sportline Note 22nd and 28th August cost is in euro. Not bothered on price per litre so not converted.

I’ve lost count how many I’ve seen on the roads. I get a lot may be hire holiday cars. But then I’ve seen many which have been personalised etc. Ireland sure has has a love for Skoda, as does the pope. Cracking value for money over here I guess with all the added taxes IRISH people have to pay.

Hiya, Currently we are in Ireland, I’m trying to refresh the DAB station list but it’s not playing ball. Usually I can click on station list and click on the region we are closest too, like Liverpool or National BBC. But here, I click on refresh and defaults back to the saved presets. I click on station list and Liverpool comes up. Any ideas?

This car is hard to fault and I think looks as good as most, if not better than most Audi A6’s and BMW 5’s

Ive just noticed on a recent trip to Holyhead via the navigation that it was offering to download a map update of around 500mb. Not really something I want to waste my mobile data allowance on. In the update portal, I can now see this is available, so will try it on to a SD card, but 24 gig is going to take a long time on my rubbish connection speed

I was wondering if the ignition had to stay on! And yes our internet speed is poor too! So the maps will show 2019 instead of 2018?

Hiya, what’s the easiest way of updating the maps in Columbus. It’s the new hard drive version. Car was picked up January this year and shows everything 2018 for all countries. I was thinking to connect to wifi to update. Although internet connection is slow.

That is a good price, some second hand ones I saw going for a little less than new! yes we looked at Kodiaq too, but the Superb won in terms of the size for leg room and the actual width of rear. Your insirance are ok, they are DOT approved I believe.

I was looking to get one of these too, currently I have a rear facing group 0 and front facing group 1. My 11 yr old then just about fits in the middle. Im going to carry on as I am for now and then debate about it at end of lease but I’ll probably get something bigger. Be be interesting to hear how you get on with it once finally installed. I thought buy price included installation?
