  1. Me thinks I found the problem. Not snapped, just the wires pulled out of the plug. Will have to try and tackle that later. Hownindidnt notice that yesterday, although I had lost light at the end.
  2. I do like these. I was eying one up when my mam was buying her Golf. PCH same price as my Superb Sportline for a R line model (petrol though not diesel) Is the rear legroom space the same? I just need to have an estate at the moment and I find the middle rear seat in the Superb a good width. Whats not to like on one one of these
  3. GPF, will that need Ad Blue? All the people I know moaning about diesels DPF and clogging up and they do the same with petrols! Appears a number of higher performance MINI and BMW models are being withdrawn sooner due to a complete crack down of emissions etc. Such a a shame really.
  4. Little buggers, thank you for sharing. Gives me an idea where to start. If I’m lucky I might be able to peek through the removable panel by the fog light. Failing that I can put up on the ramps and take the tray off.
  5. That would be helpful thanks. Whilst the tray underneath wasn’t removed, I was pulling at it in the wheel arch to get to two T30’s to hold the bumper on to the wing in an awful space. I was also running out out of light so sort of rushing, sons iPhone light come in handy!
  6. A mouse problem?! Ok thanks, must be a loom then, maybe I trapped or dislodged something. So you had a mouse chewing it up? I guess its another bumper off jobby then, or do I just pay the dealer to sort it?! Although I do have a dispute with them about my alignment at the moment so they will probably think, good serves you right
  7. Nope, pre battery disconnect those same errors were there. Tried to reset tyre indicators when stationary and wouldnt wouldn’t let me. I never realised this would cause so much hassle, won’t be changing bulbs again!
  8. I looked in the wheel arch liner, and there was no access panel. The grill I’ll stay put as the bumper pulls away from underneath. Im going to get my VCDS cable tomorrow morning and hopefully reset the errors I disconnected the battery but that didn’t do anything.
  9. The font size etc is legal. Just no BSAU and postcode of manufactures. Would have to to be very picky to pull for that.
  10. I’ve not got front parking sensors which the park assist error is confusing me. Also the tyre sensors?!
  11. I removed the the bumper to change the headlight bulb. One of of those jobs you wish you hadn’t started but I had pulled one of the bulbs out and to get in behind the lamp housing and it’s just easier to remove the bumper. I now have 3 errors so I suspect that I’ve pulled out a wire or knocked something on the ACC. Can anyone confirm my suspicions? Has anyone had to also remove their bumper?! Any help greatly appreciated.
  12. Yep bumper off job. I now have 3 errors. Park assist, ACC and tyre pressure. :-/
  13. Not even contemplating either of those. Hoping headlight off job be easy.
  14. New plate is on, didn’t know if it would work on the Superb due to overall size and width of car but seems ok.
  15. Is it a headlight out job to change the xenon D3S bulb? Looked before, whilst easy accessible there wasn’t much room to manoeuvre around.
  16. Ahh yes I was going to look at connecting it to my home so Wifi if that would work. How much is it tomupdate and is is this located in the settings?
  17. Cheers Those Phillips bulbs do look good actually and have come up in a number of searches, those and the Osram seem to be popular.
  18. Yep purple is generally 10k+, fully awareness of light output etc, but would like a bit more blue. Although I don’t want it to look aftermarket, so perhaps I settle at 6k Just wondering if anyone could recommend a brand.
  19. Have you got a photo of it? Pretty poor if it is rust.
  20. Do we know of the wiring is there and it just needs activating? @Gizmo
  21. No problem. Wish mine had been done like that. They did the tracking but it’s still out. Its gone one a bit quiet now and not heard anything from the garage and finance company.
