  5. I undid the black plastic pipe next to the sensor that gets in the way, then used needle nosed pliers to pull on the lever/clip straight upwards, and it came straight out, no need to take the undertray off.
  6. No not sold yet.i am based near canterbury in kent, altho id be happy to meet if u needed it?
  7. Interested in the jacket - £25 posted?
  8. Mine doesn't hit like that (just bloody squeaks as I need to grease it!) it shouldn't benhitting anywhere, have u got the mounting too high in the middle?
  9. They do(black box), that's what I said. Just depends if it's a calibrated speedo or not as to how accurate the speed reading is
  10. Most traffic cars have speed recording equipment, whilst area response have calibrated speedos.realistically, they just need to catch u up, and decide in their (professional and experienced) opinion, what speed they thing you were doing. 2 x police officer witnesses stating you exceeded the speed limit and they were able to tell roughly what speed you were doing due to the calibrated speedometer reading/ advanced driving experience and evidence from the in car recorders speed reading ( for the police car) will be enough evidence to show most magistrates that you were speeding. It sounds like you are happy to admit speeding but not over 100mph? Personally if it was me I'd be doing that via your solicitor as far in advance as possible, that way the court will look favourably on a guilty plea, and less likely to get a ban if convicted at less than 100mph. In relation to performance figures, it's a bit of a waste of your time because certain forces chip some cars to get more power, and then you have to consider the extra weight of 2 officers, the kit they are wearing, 2 kit bags, light bar weight, cones, signs, shovel and possibly a heavy onboard laptop/computer setup. A police officers job and livelihood depend on their honesty and integrity, therefore the court is more likely to believe them over Joe public, as the risk of them not telling the truth is a lot less. You can attempt to challenge using distances and calcuating speed, but the bottom line is 'were you speeding'. If it's yes, then don't make it worse for yourself and trying to look clever, it might backfire and you could get a worse fine. Good luck, let us know how you get on.
  11. As long as the person who picks the knife up ( as its collection only) is over 18 then it's fine (speaking from my knowledge...)
  12. PI ones like u, they have been on for a few thousand miles now (cars done 83k)....
  13. Just the springs mikejay.... £250 isn't bad for the dampers all round to be fair
  14. Winter wheels on! Alloys were £200 from eBay and I put 2 other winter tyres on, so cost me less than £300! Just need to sort out the audi caps, not sure what to do with them. Also what pressure do they need to run at (205/55/R16). My fuel cap only gives me pressures for 17/18s as its a VRS.
  15. As above, one continental sport contact 2 and one Pirelli p6000. Both have around 4mm of tread and came off my audi alloys that I bought and put winter tyres on. I run standard 18 inch Neptune during the summer so don't need them at all. The conti has a puncture repair by the looks of it. £10 each collected (Kent), £17 for both. Postage possible but will be added cost.
