190bhp versus 150bhp, no option of test drive
DarrellGB replied to BennyS3's topic in Skoda Superb Mk III (2015 - 2023)
I test drove both and preferred the 150, better economy and no real noticable performance difference. -
I do yes

It now has 'Australian' setting for the large speedo and needle sweep

They all logged at the same time this morning according to the Skoda Recovery guy, the dash lit up like a Christmas tree when I started it!!I removed all the lighting and fit standard bulbs to see if it made any difference but no such luck.

Nothing specific just a load of errors, steering position sensor, headlight washers not working, rear windows not working etc :(

I can let you have the turbo and braided oil feed line for £300, you'd easily see 175bhp with your existing mods once it's mapped

Well, the car had an electrical fit this morning and is now back at the dealership after Skoda Assist came out, they think it's the Body Control Module thats packed up. I'm in a Yeti Monte Carlo until I go on Holiday on Monday and the garage are sorting the car while I'm away

My 1.6tdi must have been classed as stage 3 then with over 200bhp and 360ftlb My project is in the process of going back to standard so let me know if you're interested in the turbo set up, it's low mileage and in perfect condition

When you say it's running 'stage 2' is it just remapped and lowered?
-
My Yeti has had at least 6 of those problems

66 out of 100 students leaving my school with no qualifications would be an epic failure !!!
-
I love my car, but as a business, having problems with 66 out of every 100 items produced wouldn't keep me in business long!!! 66% failure rate !!!

After a fitting the HID's the rest of the lights on the car have gone crazy!!! A lot of head scratching after Wardy coded the headlights and numberplate lights, the drivers side indicator is stuck on and it keeps throwing bulb outs for the front and rear indicators aswell as the fog lights. It's got to be down to the HID fogs which I'll remove tomorrow and see if it makes any difference. The Londoncolour HID headlights look great though, so do the HID fogs, just hope I can sort the indicator issue before having to drive to Sussex on Friday!!!

With the coding did you just activate xenons? I may as well have it looked at while I'm getting license plate LED's sorted.

I do but I'm going to disable them and run the fogs as DRL's

I'm going to deactivate the cornering fogs, nice feature but doesn't make that much of a difference if I'm honest.

Having fun and games with my lights!!! The HID kit from DemonTweeks was great until one of the plastic tabs on the bulb holder snapped! The H8 LED fogs were great but even with the canbus error decoder fitted it is still reading as an error!!! Fitted LED numberplate lights but they too show as an error, hopefully can get those coded though. Solution...... I've ordered two sets of Londoncolour HID kits, one H7 for the headlights and one H8 for the fog lights, should be here on Wednesday, they get great feedback and have a metal bulb holder base not plastic! Both are 35w and 6000k (pure white) Got the both for the same price of the DemonTweeks kit which I will be returning this week, hopefully I'll then have the set up I wanted

Can you get a price for some to fit the Yeti? Like the Tarox but would be good to give the Brembos go at Brands

Can't wait to see this up and running

I have a brand new and unopened full set of Heko wind deflectors for sale, they were for my 2014 Yeti (Face Lift) but never got around to fitting. £30 including postage.
