  1. Does anyone know the wiring order in case someone takes them out and can't put them back in 🫣 I've got brown, grey, purple and brown/green
  2. I've just changed the clutch and am about to put the car (2010 2.0l 170 4x4) back together. The t10096 pins haven't worked in that only one tightened properly against the car at 20nm. The other 3 just tightened against the subframe unbeknownst to me until I removed it. As a result the tapered alignment collars are loose 🤬 . I don't know enough to know if taking the car for laser / hunter style wheel alignment will fix the problem or if the subframe frame needs sorting before that can happen?
  3. Thanks a lot
  4. Did you manage to track one of these down?
  5. Hi Can anyone who has replaced their clutch help? I'm going to do this myself and would like to understand what needs removing to get the gear box separated and out. I've got pdf's of the Skoda workshop manuals but I'm keen to remove as little of the car as possible whilst keeping swearing and knuckle scrapes to a minimum when taking the gearbox out! Has anyone written this up? I've searched the forums but can't spot anything.
  6. I've got this do on our 4x4 yeti. Any tips to make the job go smoothly and not disassemble more than is necessary?
  7. Hi can anyone tell me with certainty who made the rear shocks for the 2010 170 4x4 yeti please? part number 1K0513029MN
  8. Hi All, I've just changed the timing belt and waterpump on our 2.0 tdi yeti, put it all back together and VCDS is telling me the timing is now out. I used the pins without much trouble but something has gone wrong and I wanted to know if anyone knows the procedure for reinstating the correct timing (which I hope is actually possible!) Many thanks!
  9. This is how it’s ended up
  10. Hi all, Just had the alignment done on our Yeti and Kwikfit have told us the front camber can’t be adjusted - are they mugging us off?
  11. Just had the wheel arch and belt off and it's not the ac clutch which is my problem but the ac pulley (bearing). Anyone got a part number for this? I've looked on oemepc.com and the part number is missing annoyingly!
  12. https://x8r.co.uk/air-conditioning-a-c-delphi-compressor-5n0820803-audi-vw-seat-skoda-repair-kit.html I think this is what I need. It clearly states that this is only for a Delphi compressor though and I have a Sanden, given they have the same part numbers (5N0 820 803) I presume it should fit?
  13. Helpful responses all round. Thanks a lot. Did more fording than I would have liked before Christmas and have been left with a noise which occurs when engine is revved (during driving or idling). I have VCDS and checked the turbo values which are ok. Noise actually Coming from alternator / ac compressor area. Voltages check out on Alternator. Just took it in for its MOT and garage said the noise is coming from the compressor. Can't see any wobble on pulleys though? Noise is a bit like a servo sort of sound. Doesn't change when ac is switched on or off. Part number as written on compressor doesn't have lettered suffix i don't think - 2010 elegance 170.
  14. Can a noisy a/c compressor pulley be changed on its own, or is it a whole new compressor job? Anyone done this? (Sanden 5N0 820 803) Cheers
  15. Hi All, If anyone has a blank page in this booklet and the inclination (!) i'd appreciate being sent a scanned image of the double pages please. Many thanks
  16. pcdee posted a topic in Skoda Yeti
Hi all, I managed to shear off one of the bolts which fixes the cap on the filter and need to take the haldex (gen 4, Yeti 2010) assembly off to drill / extract it. I found this guide and wondered if anyone else out there has done this before and can confirm it's as straight forward as this guide makes it look? https://workshop-manuals.com/skoda/yeti/power_transmission/gearbox_02q/final_drive_differential_differential_lock/removing_and_installing_haldex_coupling/removing_and_installing_haldex_coupling_(final_drive_installed)/ Many thanks Paul
