  1. yes but i persume neither of your 306s where running at 140 + bhp standard one tho agreed the furby would whip its *** till it gets to bends the 306 handles very well even at standard ride height
  2. agree with rico the fabia is not a quick car my 306 diesel still has the upper hand on my fabia on straights and especially in bends you wont get a quick car for 12 k brand new
  3. saxo vtr 60 in 8.3 i think i have wet myself with laughter add another second and you will be about right
  4. marlins figures are quite accurate although the transmission loss on my peugeot i lost 31 bhp on the same rolling road a month earlier i am a bit miffed about

  7. thinking about it i attatched the cable between the battery terminal and the engine power cable well thats what i think it is it attaches to the left hand side of the positive terminal if i move the cable and stick it elsewhere would this possibly cure the problem
  8. but even when the weather is mild it is rare it will reach 40 mpg before i hooked up the amp power cable i was getting 45 mpg +
  9. hi guys i have noticed of late that my mpg on the trip computer has fell through the floor last night i could only manage 35 mpg this was a mix of driving it all started after putting my amp power cable in and i am worried that i could have broken something is this behaviour normal i also have only done 150 miles to half a tank the car is an 06 plate with 5300 miles on the clock cheers guys
  10. my one i just plugged in and it works regardless of the car in motion or not
  11. the reason ripspeed does not have a removable facia is because the unit is actually bolted into the cage with these ridiculosly small screws unless you have a very small screwdriver you will not get it out
  12. im happy with the mine but then again it is the first new car i have owned but will probably have another one in years to come

  14. what you havce described is exactly the same as mine bud no need to worry something else to look at rather than plastic
  15. let them think that its what the owners of the car think personally i am very happy with my car as it is understated and quite rare around my parts plus its diesel

  17. i found a different one guys i used the stud which holds the boot trim panel on only problem is they only plastic nuts will this be a problem i dont think it will be but best to double check

  19. right guys quick Q does anyone know where on earth i can run my earth lead to to get a decent earth. I have found plenty of spots but i need a larger one as i am running 4 awg cable i tried the bolt which holds the seat buckles in but the bolt is too big i think reading from earlier posts Devonutopia runs cabling of this size in his fabia so hopefully he can come up with one but any suggestions are more than welcome cheers
  20. the sound quality is fine i am also running a sub of mine and it sounds nice
  21. my one does it can be a bit annoying at times give it a quick blip on the revs and it will die down for a minute or 2
  22. i dont think mine has ever needed to kick in but its there just incase and in my opinion its worth the money just for that reason
