:goodvibe: Despite the recent animosity... I still like visiting the site Things I like... hmm. I like reading what Jason, Dave and Steve have done to their cars. I like reading some of the mental posts that end up in the OT Section Most of all, I like the company! I wasn't made a mod - but I'm not bitter so the rest of you can get over it too!! There's always a next time

:orb_upset:orb_upset:orb_sad: Don't say that!!! :( I didn't mean it to go that way!!

 Having no idea what has taken place regarding Lady E... as a cautionary measure I am going to apologise for starting the Biggest OT Posters Poll :( If was meant as a joke and a bit of light hearted humour, but soon degenerated into a typical (of late) Brisky slanging match! Lady E... hope you're back soon - I'll buy you chocolate if i ever meet you.

 WHO... WHAT.. Where did she go... she wasn't THAT annoyed with the OT Poster Poll was she! I think that she adds a little colour to the forum - some of her posts are so off the cuff!

So if I'm reading this right... :mischief: - Mischievous? :insane: - Lunatic? :dopey: - Mentalist? :cyclops: - Inbred?

From what I know... Dad's side originated from Cheshire somewhere (Family tree goes back to 1820 so far) and Mum's side was Half Welsh. Guess that means I'm a quarter Welsh... boy'oh :P Born here... English through-and-through

Just out of interest - I'm still running on my Carbonio Filter without the intake... as it cracked! :P If I switched back to standard air filter do you think I'd have to have the car tweaked again by Revo? Uprated fuel pump may be planned...

Also, if you live in Liverpool or the surrounding areas and want to insure either VRS that's been breathed on... forget it!! I was told, nah... "we don't insure modified cars in Liverpool" when I phoned up for a quote on my Octavia. No explanation given... Bad show :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: -
'tis me.... and I wasn't posing

I've found that as you loose weight, it takes a larger effort to eat more - as you seem to get full quite quickly because your stomach has shrunk. It takes a lot of effort to make your stomach stretch again, and it isn't pleasant as you'll be eating until you physically feel sick - but is certainly doable. My BMI is just about right.... but I have a fair bit of scope to improve!

I'm about 6" tall, 26 years old, and struggle to hold about 11 Stone... and believe me it is a struggle as I'm a hyperactive sod who simply finds it hard to stand still! :P I'm fortunate that despite not getting much exercise I manage to hold a weight under 11 stone with ease... all this talk about couch potatoes is a lie I tell ya!! I'd say my normal weight is about 10 1/2 stone, but had to build it up as my eating habits were atrocious - plenty of veg and biccies helped combined with a least one chippy tea a week and a KFC at the weekend Now that I'm at the weight I want I'm holding it by sticking to the veg.... and the occasional chippy tea... and a KFC... and a Burger King!! I'm just waiting until I hit 40 and it all goes down hill...

I've had a similar e-mail from both SUK and direct from Skoda themselves... which strangely enough were worded the same way  I'm hoping that it's true - the Fabia Sport came out of nowhere so maybe a vRS will do the same... eventually
-
I do!! Probably a few other people do to... or at least want to see how Skoda mess up the vRS
-
I can forgive them for the first I suppose But it ended crap... :P
-
Tells me that you're not "in the know" Mr Syd. :P Maybe you're still a dealer noob and they don't tell you the good stuff
-
... does it mean that a new VRS is finally coming?? Clicky Direct from Alex Lawrie Skoda's blog... please oh please let it be!
-
I concur... was the biggest load of carp I ever saw :thumbdwn:
-
Does that work? Wouldn't it stop you from changing gear... or does the clutch automatically adjust?

Mine does it all the time mate. She sounds like a transit van at times when she starts up but the revs remain constant with a very audible ticking noise. Having sat next to a couple at the lights though I think this is the norm
