Not used it myself but Meguires are well known, anything for 8 quid from halfords is a Bargin from the Meguires/Autoglym section. Give it a go, you may be surprised.

First update/install - My trusty Drive pro 220 dash cam. Only running off the 12v socket at the moment as haven't got much time to do a proper hard wire install, plus the weather isn't playing ball!

Hi all! I've been on the forum a while now, mainly in the detailing section. Recently upgraded my pride & joy, a Fabia vRS in rallye green to a race blue Octavia. It's quite possibly then best move I've ever made in the car world so far, being only 25 it's quite nice to have a car of the Octy's calibre too! Spec - 63 Octavia vRS 2.0 TSI DSG gearbox Race blue Part leather/cloth interior Sat navigation Climate control Cruise control Bi Xenon headlights & all the usual factory gear.. most of which is above. Plans - some far in the future. Full 2/3 stage correction detail to do by myself with coatings. Roof wrap, mirrors & window tints. Possible remap. Exhaust upgrade. My main concern is the paint work as it has been through some unsightly car washes & been machined by a fool with a rotary with no refinement.... Only picture I have so far of the car is below. An awesome upgrade and loving it so far!

I'm now until subscribing from this thread as you made me buy an Octavia vRS and virtually spending my money. Hahaha! Looking good mate!

It is damn cold! I may give it a wash early next week, wait till it warms up.

A detailing day in order for sure mate with the vRS and R36! Make sure it's clean? That's why I'm bringing over tonight, you're doing it haha!

Thanks Mark! Thursday pick up all being well. Needs a decent detail of course. 2 stage correction having looking at the car under lights on inspection. Got a list as long as my arm of things to do to it also!

Octavia vRS TSI DSG estate in race blue buddy. The Fabia had a serious engine problem unfortunately so had to go. Looks awesome in the photo but the 1.4 lump was on its way out. Genuinely gutted as I've put so many hours into the car but times change & need an estate for business mate!

Excellent write up buddy and great to see the Sunday shine threads back in action! Dooka Glass as you mentioned above is outstanding. Best cleaner I've tried to date. Great insight into the new Waxaddict gear too! Both the Z4 & R36 looking awesome!

Could be worth giving the wipers either a deep clean with a detailing brush and all purpose cleaner or applying some Aquapel to the blades themselves.
