Think Mercedes and Red Bull will be top dogs again this year.
-
I've got to get me one of them
-
Bottas possibly the best of the most likely candidates. Shouldn't be too easy for Hamilton.
-
Thought Ricciardo was good this year but I agree, there were a few races where he was anonymous relative to Verstappen. Hamilton and Alonso I think drove better this year.
-
I think Negans hair was looking a bit greasy last night . Looks like things will be kicking off in the mid season finale next week
-
Congrats to Nico. Better driver didn't win in the end but he did take advantage of Hamilton's issues. Reverse the roles and I'm sure Rosberg would do the same. Roll on 2017 where hopefully a couple of other teams will be in the mix
-
Most likely a straightforward merc 1-2 where there are no threats/problems. Things will fall into place for Rosberg one last time this year (Hamilton poor start or some form of safety car to rescue top 3). Hope I'm wrong and Rosberg actually has to fight for it.

Aware . Definitely chanelling Trevor in this character
-
Maybe the sober, non drugged version of Trevor Phillips?
-
I expected a bit more to happen in last night's episode. Do like the Simon character though, could potentially be a more intimidating presence than Negan himself
-
Looks like it is very wet at Interlagos. Safety car start on the cards I think
-
I think the next episode is the first time Negan knocks on the door at Alexandria. I agree that the music was a bit off putting but I guess it was designed for you to see it through Daryl's eyes and drive us mad too

The one at spa on Kimi springs to mind. Although not in the braking zone, the late jink at 200mph would have been an air plane crash
-
It's ironic that now they are enforcing moving in the braking zone, one of the chief advocates in getting it enforced is the first to be penalised for it. If Nico wants to win this title he needs to stay away from Max, twice he was nearly wiped out by a sideways Red Bull.
-
Anyone else think red bull vs Ferrari is descending into all out war? Quite a few times their respective drivers have clashed on track now this year. Makes for entertaining viewing . I couldnt take Vettels finger wagging seriously though
-
Still Nico's title to lose. How that dnf in Malaysia has swung things in his favour, they would be pretty much neck and neck now with 3 races to go if Lewis' engine didn't grenade itself. Here's hoping for a Nico dnf in either Mexico or Brazil to set up a winner takes all showdown in Abu Dhabi.

Wow that was intense. Wonder what the rest of the season will bring

Rosberg too I bet. Scary moment

Manchester Thunder and Lightning Storm Tuesday Eve!
ben1990 replied to Lady Elanore's topic in Off Topic Chat
We have storm warnings for tomorrow here. Love a good storm so hopefully it actually happens this time. Most spectacular storm I have ever seen was the one that caused the flood in Boscastle in 2004. We were stationed just a few miles up the coast getting some very heavy rain and frequent lightning strikes. 2 hours or so later we notice that the storm hasn't really moved much so when the time comes to head back to where we are staying, all roads are flooded and impassable. Most memorable was seeing a torrent of flood water going across the a39 heading towards the sea where there is normally a small stream that runs underneath the road -
Congratulations . Parenting definitely the hardest but most rewarding part of life IMO. We have recently had our third child, all girls by the way . We stocked up on aldi nappies while swmbo was pregnant and can't complain about them. Good value. I remember while we were expecting our first we scoured charity shops and cheaper places like George asda to get clothes etc. Dont worry about buying fancy clothing as babies will not know the difference and will likely ruin them. Most importantly, as others have said, enjoy it and make time for the scans. Despite all the hard work the cuddles you will get are worth it. My eldest two, one of which started school on Monday, always give big hugs when they get home from school/nursery. Cherish every moment, it goes fast.

I believe Lewis said that the flat spot was minimal and unnoticeable. Long run down to turn 1 and with the Ferraris starting on super softs I wouldn't be surprised to see them 1-2 early on
-
Always been a fan of Massa after how he dealt with losing the championship at the last corner. Absolute respect
-
I winced when Max blocked Kimi on the kemmel straight that would have been a huge crash. Glad to see K-Mag get out unscathed, just shows how safe those cars really are. Roll on Monza and just once i would love to see Rosberg starting at the back to see how far up he can get. I wonder if Max v both Ferraris will continue, he seems to be seeing a lot of them recently

I think Mercedes are also doing some of the testing. Not sure when but I saw somewhere a schedule of 2017 tyre and aero tests. Doesn't help that the current tyres just evaporate when the car behind gets within a second. Of course all the hype that it will be closer, we will get to next year and find Mercedes are even further ahead
-
Here's hoping the 2017 regs allow for cars to follow close enough to try to pass. You would think that with all the aero expertise up and down the grid that they would be able to come up with something. I have seen the pictures of Vettel testing some of the new regs on last year's Ferrari. Looked quite good to be fair.
