Oem dog/luggageguards
Just found out the 2013 brochure for the facelift superb which shows the guard in accessories section with price "includes fitting" which confirms to be that it's not a factory fit option and is a dealer fit accessory (suspect they have a template to know where to drill before bolting it into place)

Oem dog/luggageguards
I have the Skoda original guard (but no dog, keeps me separated from all my work equipment π which was fitted by the dealer as part of the deal when I bought their demonstrator at 3 months old. Believe all the mounting points are there as standard but hidden behind trim panels which need drilling when fitting the guard. Does make for a very strong rigidly mounted guard

Superb Mk2 Climatronic fault in windscreen mode
You might be able to find a local friendly Briskoda member who could help with the scan:

Superb Mk2 Climatronic fault in windscreen mode
I suspect one of the flap valves is stuck. You need to get a scan with VCDS or similar to get the fault codes which will identify exactly where the fault lies. I had a similar problem with intermittent sticking of the flap valve that controls driver's site temperature which would stick at full heat and try to cook me! The valves aren't stupidly expensive but a pig to access to change. Workshop manual suggested dashboard out! But fortunately the indy who looks after my car is happy working upside down lay on front seat and was able the change it with dash in place by trimming a few bits of plastic under the dash to slide the valve in and out

Columbus maps/radio update
You still need to burn the boot loader cd to update via SD card EBay listing is likely the simplest solution to do what you want: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226543764695?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=5G2pIcpnShu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=4VjRLbsnT16&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Anyone used www.skoda-parts.com for parts supply to the UK?
Have used them once, parts arrived next day! Very good value as long as you stick below the 130 odd quid limit to avoid custom charges, below that the price you see on the website is the total you pay. They also offer option for cheap Chinese, quality EU OEM and genuine VAG for many parts to suit your budget (although expect the radar cover is only available as genuine VAG bit). Plus they have native English speaking UK based agent who is really helpful and knowledgeable: Patrick Rice sales representative e [email protected] t +44 20 8089 8075

Replacement Battery
I have the original version of Carista dongle, mostly used to monitor status of the DPF using VAG DPF software as it's the cheapest approved hardware for that app. But recently renewed subs for Β£10 for 1 month to code in third new battery on my FL 4x4 CR170 estate and also new battery my better Half's BMW series 2. Bear in mind that on Superb it can only change the battery serial number, not battery type or capacity which VCDS can. That's fine as long as you are replacing like for like as incrementing the serial number is enough to tell the car the battery is new and to charge it accordingly. But no good if you are swapping EFB / AGM or different Ah rating.

bi xenon's ?
Not personally, bulbs were changed by the VW indy specialist who now looks after the old girl for me (passed 150K miles yesterday). I believe that it's not a huge job, basically unplug some cables, remove a few fixings pins and bolts and it lifts off, ideally I suspect with 2 people to avoid damaging it.
-
bi xenon's ?
Can't recall now why I initially decided they were D3S, suspect it was from this forum. But good old Amazon confirmed the osram D3S I was looking at suited my car. WRT to your car, the fact that there is no easy access cover for the xenons confirms that it's a facelift car and hence requires D3S
-
bi xenon's ?
A facelift elegance like this will have D3S xenon and yes, new ones make a big difference as they fade with age, mine on 63 plate car were changed at 8 years and difference was literally like night and day. Unfortunately it's a bumper off job to get access to take headlamp out to get to all the screws you need to undo. Old pre facelift cars used D1S xenon and could be changed in situ via little access hatch

Obdeleven and XDS
Excellent news. Always amazes me why this was never offered as a paid for option for the Superb given the functionality is already built in.

Help....
Had a similar array of intermittent faults on my Superb 2 when had a failing ABS wheel sensor. So many systems are tied into wheel speed measurement a single sensor can cause many seeming unrelated systems to go into fault. A quick scan by vcds or similar will confirm root cause.

Obdeleven and XDS
I had it switched on soon after I got my 4x4 car so have 10 years experience. It did seem to improve turn in and traction on high speed twisty stuff but that could well be a placebo effect. No negatives so definitely worth coding in as it's free upgrade. Can also recommend Hill Hold Control as transformed my DSG car which was a pain with stop start traffic on a slope. Only certain ABS pumps/modules support it but if you ABS hardware is suitable and you have DSG car then definitely enable it.

New bi xenon?
Unfortunately with a facelift car like yours, the D3S bulbs need the bumper off to give the required access. My VW indy did this for me a few years ago with OSRAM XENARC ORIGINAL D3S which are currently around Β£45 each from Amazon and these restored headlamps back to as new performance. PS well impressed with your 282K on the clock, thought my 63 plate 4x4 TD170 was doing well at 150K

glow plugs
No worries, likely worth changing all four glow plugs as if one has failed then the others likely aren't too far behind
-
glow plugs
Not necessarily suggesting you purchase from them (although their prices are very good as long as you stick below the 130 odd quid limit to avoid custom charges) but Skoda parts web site has always worked for me and let's you upload your car details to search for compatible parts. Plus they have native English speaking UK based agent who is really helpful and knowledgeable https://www.skoda-parts.com/catalog/superb-2.html Patrick Rice sales representative e [email protected] t +44 20 8089 8075 Don't think there are many variations in the glow plugs for 170 CRs like yours (you car is identical age/spec to my 4x4 estate) and suspect will be these: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/03l963319d-glowplug-tdi-cr-skoda-15152.html Patrick would be able to 100% confirm

glow plugs
I had an intermittent fault with one glow plug which was on its way out but didn't give a fault on all cold starts and was told by the indy who looks after my car that glow plug fault would inhibit dpf regen. Was working away at the time so whilst I was waiting to change the glow plugs I simply monitored the dpf status and if I knew it was due to regen on current trip, I simply reset the glow plug fault if one had been triggered when engine started from cold and it then regenerated fine. I have read that the glow plugs are used for more than just initial cold start and are an essential part of the emissions control which I guess is why a fault impacts in what looks to be an unrelated system

No BlueTooth on Mk2 Superb Elegance
I sit with seat at lowest position and fully back and the screws are then very easy to access with a 10mm socket and 1/4" ratchet handle or 10mm combination spanner. See attached, easy to see when kneeling by side of car. I've removed and refitted module on roadside in past to get Bluetooth up and running at start of a long journey when can't remember how to unplug to reset, it's that easy Not something that needs to happen regularly, I haven't had to do it this year from recollection so think best to have three fixings in place in case single bolt strains the plastic fixing lug and causes it to snap.
-
No BlueTooth on Mk2 Superb Elegance
I wouldn't dream of suggesting that such a fine upstanding citizen would have done such a thing !!! But yes, suspect that is the case either with dealer or previous owner. Caveat emptor applies but I'd certainly ask the dealer why standard feature for Elegance was not only not working, the hardware had been removed.
-
No BlueTooth on Mk2 Superb Elegance
Forgot to finish 2nd sentence, should have read "....... possibly to remove references to Bluetooth and phone from Columbus and maxi dot knowing that the module wasn't working"
-
No BlueTooth on Mk2 Superb Elegance
That might explain why Bluetooth not working π Sounds like someone removed faulty module, possibly . If you can find the right revision of Bluetooth module on eBay then it could be a plug and play fix, plenty on their from Β£60 upwards. Finding that revision might not be so easy. Trick I've used in past is to ask Skoda dealership parts department for a formal quote for replacement module against your vin. The part number should include the revision code. Other threads here might give some guidance as to suitable revision numbers

No BlueTooth on Mk2 Superb Elegance
I occasionally have to reboot the Bluetooth module in my 63 plate facelift car when it stops communicating with rest of the car and gives symptoms you describe. I always forget how the plug works due to gap between problems. But if you unbolt the module (plastic cover slides forward and then few torx screws hold it to floor) it's easy to see how the cable connector releases when you have full access and clear view all around. Really must make a note of how to release it next time I need to do this ;-). It could of course be your module has totally failed or there are wiring problems but the proposed reboot is definitely the first thing to try.

Passenger footwell light not working. Itβs not the bulb. Any ideas?
There's a diode installed in these lights, looks like a small cylinder with bare wire leads out of each end cap which is installed in parallel (from recollection) with the bulb. Passenger footwell light has stopped working intermittently in the past a couple of times and changing diode fixed it. Diodes are few pence each. Will sort details when back to laptop.
