  1. I'm not entirely sure to be honest, I bought it this way, I'm guessing about 200 to 210ish brake looking at what companies on the Internet claim to get out of them. It's tourqey as hell tho, it's maybe not got the best of maps on it.
  2. thanks guys, its had a remap with its dpf removed, will that make any difference?
  3. Hi, my Octavia has started doing the dual mass flywheel judder. It's from around 1500 revs when you accelerate it's juddering fairly badly. Has anyone gone to a solid mass flywheel conversion? What are they like afterwards? Or is it better to just put another dual one in it? Thanks all
  4. Why does he want to swap with you? He's not trying to swap you a pup with yours is he??
  5. Get a quote for all three, then work out which one works out the cheapest taking into account charges such as acceptance fees, option to purchase fees etc. the PCP is a good option if you are definitely 100% positively sure you are going to change it in 3 years as you defer part of the payment for three years so get a lower monthly payment, but as boss fox says some companies do have higher charges on these.
  6. A Toyota Urban Cruiser 1.4D 4x4 is worth a look at if you can find a one, decent car, cheap to run and pretty bullet proof really. But only the diesel is 4x4, the petrol ones are just 2 wheel drive
  7. thats me and my Granda's Ford Model Y
  8. I had a Fabia vRS and now I've got an Octavia vRS TDi PD. my Octavia has had the DPF removed and a stage 1 map. It's a fairly rapid thing when you really give it the beans, but the Fabia felt faster to me. It was just a bit more raw really, doesn't have the sound proofing of the Octavia and it rides much better than the Fabia too. They are both fantastic cars, I really like them both, the Fabia feels a lot faster than it is I think, it's a bit more raw and basic but the Octavia is quieter, more comfortable, faster (mine is) and better built, but then it is more expensive too.
  9. Yep, just google it. If you can't find it, pm me and I'll send you it.
  10. The dreamcast is my favourite console I've had, very underrated really
  11. Yes! I remember playing this loads as a kid, was rock solid hard. Never managed to beat that enemy carrier, was a very in depth game for it's time. You can still download it now and play it in windows.
  12. can we maybe sticky this, a few people have asked about head units recently and this is a fairly good thread
  13. Black is terrible to keep clean, shows every scratch and mark in it. It does however look the dogs knackers when clean, I'd always have a black car had the choice
  14. Columbus is the better unit, some more info here, http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/250863-stereo-guide-stream-bolero-columbus-amundson-etc/page__st__60#entry3078303
  15. I do like that the American government has a sense of humour about this, made me chuckle!
  16. With the tape drive! Yeah I fancy one of those too
  17. It's retro for a 26 year old lol. The first one I had was an Atari ST520, I keep trawling eBay for them but they go for daft money
  18. I'm fairly into retro gaming, I've got the usual Xbox 360, ps3 and a 3ds but I'm also a fan of retro gaming. I've got a game gear, a ps2 and recently swmbo bought me a sega Saturn, it's ace! I do have a sega soft spot really, oh I've a mega drive too. I got a dreamcast when they came out and that's been my favourite console, love the game Shenmue if anyone has played that??
  19. Would have been up for this but I'm away on holiday, I'll try and catch the mini one later in the year
  20. That's what happens on Toyotas with the stop and start on them. Plus they get batteries designed for stop start as well. There are fuel saving benefits, not vastly but there are. Plus you get lower emissions so can get cheaper road tax too.
  21. Great to see it restarted again, looking forward to the outcome
