  1. Does this need coding the car or is it plug and play? I have a Octy FL 2012 with Maxidot and Coloumbus. *Stupid, just re-read the ad. I'll take it, PM me your payment details.
  2. The site defaults to US units, you have to select UK on the drop down box in the left corner.
  3. No issues from a firm ride with my estate. Crap roads, big wheels and sport suspension don't mix. :notme:
  4. Pierburg boost diverter valve removed from a Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0 TSI 2012, 34000 miles. Removed as I have upgraded to an forged atmosphere venting unit. Fully working C revision unit with metal internals, can be used to replace the early rubber/plastic versions that like to break. OE part number 06H 145 710 C. £30 p&p
  5. 4x 18" Neptune alloys removed from a Octavia VRS 2012. Tyres are Vredestein Ultrac 225/40/18 with 4-5mm tread remaining. A few marks on the faces, no kerbing and some rust bubbles on the inner side of a couple of the wheels. I can organise postage for £36.99 to UK only or collect if you so wish. Removed as I have gone black! £425 plus postage.
  6. Lots of talk about cars without Maxi-dot, what units are recommended if you have Columbus and Maxi?
  7. Ring your local store and ask them to check the genuine catalogue and cross the number for the correct ECP number.
  8. Apologies if a repost but I found this site while seeking inspiration for my VRS, well worth a view. https://www.drive2.com/r/skoda/ Much love for this OEM plus styled VRS. https://www.drive2.com/r/skoda/288230376152097839/
  9. Love them rear sill covers, strange Skoda didn't make them standard with the front. How do you find the ARB kit has improved the ride?
  10. Welcome! You'll have to let us know about the black Neptune's when you're ready to sell.
  11. I went from a 1.6 diesel with DPF to a 2.0 petrol with my 12 mile round trip with no noticeable difference in fuel usage though longer trips remind my wallet I'm driving a petrol. I will add in my 2 years of doing the journey I had no DPF related issues mainly due to knowing how to look after it. (a long journey every couple of weeks, EGR blanked, regular oil changes, premium fuels).
  12. Correct with the model year! Thanks for the help, time to start shopping!
  13. Hi all. Having come from a car with USB and bluetooth capacity as standard, I want to add the same to my Octy with Columbus. I have searched the site and to be honest, am baffled! I would like to keep things OEM (so no extra box stuck to the dash), have full connectability and control over the phone, as well as the ability to make calls hands free. I am quite happy to pull the car apart and understand that I might have to code items but we'll cross that bridge later, so what do I need? Thanks for the help.
  14. I collect my new Octy this weekend... http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/386744-2012-octavia-estate-20-tsi-vrs/ ...other than a full service, deep clean, and a trip to Ikea for the wife to fill up with furniture, what else to current owners recommend I do/change/update? I'm not looking to modify the car but keep it OEM+ by improving on what Skoda had done. A small list to begin with; Updating the chain tensioner to the current version to minimise the risk of that particular nightmare. Adding Bluetooth and USB connectability to the Columbus. Explore what options can be turned on VCDS. All thoughts and comments welcome.
  15. Try Beebies in March. Bob and his son have been around for ages and I've only heard good things.
  16. Have done this event with a few clubs in the past and its always been a good turnout plus the added bonus reduced price entry to the museum. A good family day out! Adults £10 Children £5 http://www.iwm.org.uk/visits/iwm-duxford I'm happy to collate names for a stand. I'm waiting for Duxford to get back to me with a closing date and stand numbers, will post up when I have the info. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v679/baileydog/th_Picture092.mp4
