  1. Here are the codings I have tried so far. From OBD11 forum for Golf 7 19- Central Electronics 16- Security code 31347 10- Adaptations Left side 8 Leuchte12NL LB45 Lichtfunktion C 12 “not active” > Nebellicht links 9 Leuchte 12NL LB45 Lichtfunktion D 12 “not active” > Lichthupe generell 10 Leuchte 12NL LB45 Dimmwert CD12 “0” > 127 11 Leuchte 12 NL LB45 Dimming Direction CD 12 “maximize” > maximize Right side 8 Leuchte 13NL RB5 Lichtfunktion C 13 “not active” > Nebellicht rechts 9 Leuchte 13NL RB5 Lichtfunktion D13 “not active” > Lichthupe generell 10 Leuchte 13NL RB5 Dimmwert CD 13 “0” > 127 11 Leuchte 13NL RB5 Dimming direction CD 13 “maximize” > maximize If you want the front fog lights come on with standard main beam (i.e. not just on the flash setting). (8)-Leuchte12NL LB45-Lichtfunktion C 12 > not active > “left high beam” (8)-Leuchte13NL RB5-Lichtfunktion C 13 > not active > “right high beam” Same coding is found on OBD11 forum for Octavia MK4 (I think the car is without high beam assist) There is a One Click App in OBD11 that claims to activate it, but I haven't found what it changes, and I don't like to use OCA if I don't know what they change. Then the misses get's home with the car, I'll have a go at it again. Perhaps the controle unit needs to reload ( full off/on of the car) before it takes effect...
  2. I tried one that works on Octavia mk3 and Fabia mk3 but they do nothing. I have also tired one from a Golf 8 but that car did not have high beam assist. I don't know if the adaption channels have changed or because of high beam assist the way it activates the high beam is different the on cars without high beam assist.
  3. Why do you drive with high beams on when there is oncoming traffic? I live on the country and the fogs provide extra light to either sides making it easy to spot wild life before they run over the road.
  4. Hi is there anybody that have found a way to get the fog lights to turn on when high beam gets turn on by the high beam assist or manually. I have tried different adaptions from Golf 8 and Seat Leon but it does not work on my Octavia iv
  5. Hi On cars leaving the factory now with virtual cockpit, they have an option to show Navi and dials together as shown below. Besides Navi together with dials it’s also possible to change the speedometer in the center to other info. Can’t remember what the options are. It’s cars that have hardware H61 so far. But was hoping somebody here knows if hardware H56 and/or H58 can be updated to have the same functionality.??
  6. Hi all In my iV octy the navigation suggests stops at restaurants and cafe on the route. Do anyone know how to make it stop? All POI's is off and can't find any other setting that makes any change to this. Hardware H58 Software 1889 NavDB 22.1 production week 3 2022
  7. Quick question for those of you that have installed HID in your Mk3. Do any of you have problems with on of the bulbs not turning one due to bulb check? On mine, if I wait with turning on the engine till the bulbs have warmed up then it's no problem. But if i turn one the engine right away the left bulb won't turn on and the car gives an bulb error, and I need to restart the car to get the bulb to turn one and the error to go away The ballasts are connected directly to the wire harness where the h7 bulb is normally connected. I have tried changing the adaptation "type of load" to xenon low beam, but that made no difference, is there an other type that would make the car not turning the bulb off for protection and show an error?
  8. Use this. Address 09 channel ENG124863-ENG115058-Leuchte2SL VLB22-Light_Function_C_2 adapted from Blinken links aktiv to BlinkenlinksRampe Address 09 channel ENG124864-ENG115077-Leuchte3SL VRB36-Light_Function_C_3 adapted from Blinken rechts aktiv to BlinkenrechtsRampe
  9. Ind the handbook for the MIB2 Swing radio for this car it mentions to items that I can't seem to find in my car. From page 39 in this version (10/2014) Link ■ Convenience consumers - Display of fuel consumption of convenience con- sumers on/off ■ Eco tips - Display of tips for economical driving on/off Can any of you with this car have a look and see if it is in your's?
  10. Yes in denmark it's called main beam as it is your main light, and must always be on, except on wary new cars that have DRL/LED. And Skoda denmark advertises the autolight as tunnel light, that's what they call the function. I can not find any others that are eperiencing this issue, so I conclude that it's my car that is acting strange. Do somebody know if I can log all the communication in the car, meaning that VCDS could log when one module sends a command to another, hoping to record what module tells the light function to switch to day mode and back to night mode??
  11. Hello I have a 2015 MY15 Style edition with LED headlight and RLHS and at night when the main beam is on, and I stop at an intersection for red light, and the start/stop function kicks in and turns off the engine, then sometimes, when the engine starts again, the lights switches to DRL LED and back again to main beam, as if the RLHS forgets that it is night and the main beam should be on. Not that the corner light stays on. It is not every time that it does it, it seems that it accrues only if the engine has been of a certain amount of time. Skoda Denmark have looked at the car and says there is nothing wrong. It does not bother me that much, it is more that the car in front might think that I am flashing my lights at them for not moving fast enough at green light. Someday it might be a person that takes it the wrong way and gets mad. Video that shows it.
  12. I only have a blootooth update as well.. Will trie a body of mine that has access to official ODIS and rund an update on it...
  13. Odd I do not have that menu on my Skoda Swing radio. Perhaps it can be activated via VCDS... What firmware is your radio on? perhaps it is only for radios after week 22 (MY16) mine is a MY15. PS noticed that the check mark on yours is in color (green) mine is whit/gray...
  14. How on earth did you du that. I don't have a menu option to add icons... Can you perhaps show the procedure with photos? and what the logos have in regards to naming and type and size? I really want this as the screen looks so dull with out logos... Best regards Alex
  15. But thats on the Bolero version. the manual I link to is for the Swing version, the small screen and SD card slot in the front. On that radio there is no option in radio settings to change the station logos, and there are no default logos. I beleve it's a mistype in the manual, but just wanted to see if anybody else noticed it with the Swing radio.
  16. Hello all In the online manual for the new Fabia with Swing radio it notes on page 15 that you can manage radio stadion logos. http://ws.skoda-auto.com/OwnersManualService/Data/en/Fabia_NJ/05-2015/Navigation/Swing/A06_Fabia_Swing_InfotainmentSystem_Navigation.pdf But the option is not in my unit. So I was wondering if there are somebody out there that have noticed the option to change radio station logos. Or purhaps it is for a newer firmware.?? BR Alex
  17. I had a look in ETKA and the PR code for electric windows in the Fabia 3 is 4R3 and the description says "Power windows with comfort operation" leading me to belive it is possible... It seames wrong to remove the feature as it was in the MK2 so it's nothing new, but VAG is not always easy to understand.
  18. I have tried enable all the settings in VCDS regarding windows and remote/key fob. I even found a setting in the infotaintment giving the opstion to select window convinienc, but nothing happens. Not even the driverside window want's to be controled fia the key. Perhaps it's just one of the things that's made so it does not outshine the VW Polo with fancy features.
  19. Hello all I have just received my Fabia 3 combi and noticed that I can not close the windows with the key fob Do anybody know if it is possible to enable via Vcds. I can't seem to find instructions on it.. Best regards Alex
