Virtual cockpit Navi and dials together

Featured Replies

Hi

On cars leaving the factory now with virtual cockpit, they have an option to show Navi and dials together as shown below. Besides Navi together with dials it’s also possible to change the speedometer in the center to other info. Can’t remember what the options are.

It’s cars that have hardware H61 so far. But was hoping somebody here knows if hardware H56 and/or H58 can be updated to have the same functionality.??

Unless I'm misunderstanding something, that feature has been there since the beginning.

It's not there in my 2020 build car, nor the loan car I had a couple of years back, but on the 2023 registered loan car I had last month this capability was alive and well. As @Alexsus mentions, it's only in the later build cars with later hardware. I know of no way to enable it on the older vehicles, will try to remember to ask my friendly dealer when I'm next there (taking the wife's CitiGo for service & MOT).

I found the map with dials display to be too busy for my liking, preferring the minimal guidance information on the virtual cockpit with full map on the infotainment screen. The ability to change the central speedometer to other information is something I would like to have though.

I'm still trying to get Google Maps to appear on my VC, I know that I like Waze, but sometimes I feel Google Maps is slightly better for things in West Somerset, after Waze tried to send me up an unpaved road as the shortest route between two points. 😠

It was in fact a misunderstanding on my part. Didn't realise he was talking about the one on the bottom row.
