  1. problem solved! Apparently the engine timing was off during the belt change and engine management didn't like it. I am now back home and the car ran well for the whole 587 miles. Thank's to all for your input.
  2. Thanks. I'm currently in Aberdeen city but live south of London.
  3. 2 liter Skoda Superb dsg 2012. I had to have the cam belt changed. I am now told that gears 1,2 and 3 work fine but 4,5 and 6 go into limp mode. I'm 600 miles away from home HELP !!
  4. Ken, I had disconnected the battery, when reconnected, all parameters were reset. I checked as you said and I'm now up and running again. Many thanks.
  5. Thank's Ken. I'll check that.
  6. Greetings. I have a Mk. 2 Superb estate on a 12 plate which is just starting to show it's age with niggly faults. The mpg readout on the dashboard is constantly updating, anywhere from 0 to 200 mpg and back again This particularly annoying as I do long journeys from South of England to the North of Scotland and I pride myself on the mpg I can squeeze out of the 2 litre diesel engine. Any suggestions not involving a hammer would be appreciated.

  8. HELP !! -- Superb2,-- dashboard light indicating one or more lights not working but, all lights are working, I've even checked interior lights and registration lights. ANY OFFERS??
  9. Good old Ebay sell them, I have lost both front and rear in the 8 years I've had my Superb. Yes, they are attached with glue. Make sue you order the right one ( different sizes). Make sure the area you are going to fit it is clean and dry. When I fitted mine, I warmed the glue a little with a hair dryer to make it mote tacky.
