problem solved! Apparently the engine timing was off during the belt change and engine management didn't like it. I am now back home and the car ran well for the whole 587 miles. Thank's to all for your input.

Thanks. I'm currently in Aberdeen city but live south of London.

2 liter Skoda Superb dsg 2012. I had to have the cam belt changed. I am now told that gears 1,2 and 3 work fine but 4,5 and 6 go into limp mode. I'm 600 miles away from home HELP !!

Ken, I had disconnected the battery, when reconnected, all parameters were reset. I checked as you said and I'm now up and running again. Many thanks.

Thank's Ken. I'll check that.

Greetings. I have a Mk. 2 Superb estate on a 12 plate which is just starting to show it's age with niggly faults. The mpg readout on the dashboard is constantly updating, anywhere from 0 to 200 mpg and back again This particularly annoying as I do long journeys from South of England to the North of Scotland and I pride myself on the mpg I can squeeze out of the 2 litre diesel engine. Any suggestions not involving a hammer would be appreciated.

HELP !! -- Superb2,-- dashboard light indicating one or more lights not working but, all lights are working, I've even checked interior lights and registration lights. ANY OFFERS??

Good old Ebay sell them, I have lost both front and rear in the 8 years I've had my Superb. Yes, they are attached with glue. Make sue you order the right one ( different sizes). Make sure the area you are going to fit it is clean and dry. When I fitted mine, I warmed the glue a little with a hair dryer to make it mote tacky.

Superb MkII Sat Nav irregularities
Godzillasdad replied to Marcoous's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I'm afraid your problem is now beyond my experience. As I said, bought a new antennae, disconnected the old one, ran the new cable up to the top of the dashboard, and stuck the new antennae on top of the dashboard, hard up against the windscreen. It's not perfect but it works. If there are 10 satelites, I'll see 7 of them.- 18 replies

Superb MkII Sat Nav irregularities
Godzillasdad replied to Marcoous's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
I had this problem about a year ago. I fitted a new sat-nav antennae but, rather than uproot all the headlining ( or wherever the antennae is routed) I simply unplugged the old antennae , plugged in the new one and affixed it to the dashboard, under the windscreen. Works a treat.- 18 replies

RUSTYNUTS, HELP !! I have Superb 2 Estate, 2012 with the Columbus system. When I turned the map on this morning at home, It showed the finish flag for my home but showed my actual position about 20 miles away. I decided to go for a drive and see what happened. The map rotated as you would expect as I drove, but always in the wrong place. I set the navigation to go home, although it appeared to know where the finish flag was, it wasn't able to get me there, (still showing an error of about 20 miles.) When I got home, I tried a navigation reset, (left arrow, right arrow and microphone) but the system restarted with the same error. This is the first trouble in all the years I've had the car. I would be grateful for your thoughts. Regards. Nigel England.

41 mpg for Superb, is this reasonable?
Godzillasdad replied to Goderich's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
Just read your figures. I have a 2-litre superb estate. I get 35-40mpg around town and 50-53mpg on a run. If I stick to 55mph, I can squeeze 65 mpg out of it, but that's driving like a real miser! I have fitted a "GOFAR" to my car which shows you exactly where you are wasting your money. -
Not a hope, far too expensive but, thank's anyway.

Does dash cam obscure vision
Godzillasdad replied to SEman's topic in Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015)
The front camera is in fact two. It's stuck on the windscreen with one lens looking forward through the screen and the other lens looking into the car. The rear camera is stuck on the rear screen looking out the back of the car, so in effect, I have camera vision all around the car.
