  1. If you don't want to spend to much on it, you can try to apply "boat silicone", it still works with mine.
  2. Hi KenONeill, Thanks, I use the plastic grill. The screw off the headlight goes through two small metal plate, and between them, there is the front grill. I was also skeptic if it could handle it, well after nearly 3 years there still on it. I don't know how big your spots are, mines are quite small (7 inches in diameter). I can take a picture of it, if you want.
  3. Hello, Well after almost 5 years with my felicia as the first car, it would be time to present the car. The feli is a LXi from 2000, with the 1.3 135m (54 hp engine) I bought the car in 2014, with 85 000 km and everything in top condition (except the electric windows) and I am the third owner. Meanwhile, he has run over 140 000 km without major problems. What has been done to date (BIG thanks to you guy's) (except oil change, etc.) - Thermostat - Temperature sensor - MAP sensor - Throttle body - A gasket for the gearbox - Thermostat housing - Temperature contact for the cooler blower And well, I still like to drive it every single day :)
  4. Hi, Did you already have the car ? What do you want to know about favorit's ?
  5. The problem with those tuning topics, there is never a feedback of how it end :(
  6. for 115000 km on the clock, and if the car doesn't have any mechanicals issue, it will be hard to finde something else in that price segment. Plus its a 1.3 engine. Thats a greate one .
  7. Maybe not 140hp, but the webers aren't the only mods on it. Perhaps its too much for a reliable daily car, this one is a track car.
  8. Okay, so lets say 80hp. ( i would also like to have that power in my feli ^^) But it might be impossible without mods on the engine
  9. Hello, I don't thinck its possible. Its an old ECU from siemens, you can't do a lot with it. Also for a small tuning, most people her will say to you that it's to expensive, and should go for the 1.6 from VW. But if you want to tune your skoda engine, its possible
  10. Hello everyone, Also here a little feed back, So I changed the original thermo-switch with one of the Skoda 120. And it works perfectly, only little detail is that the fan runs around 1min after turning off the engine ( Because the coolant is hot ) But that's not a problem for me Thanks for all the infos.
  11. Hello, Little feet back, It was quite easy to do the job and I am happy that I got the 14SK type ^^. Only challenge was the lack of space for filling up. Thanks again for the help
  12. Hello, Does anyone have the part number of the gearbox mounts ? (The one at the rear) Thanks.
  13. One more question, on the newer model, is it also 4mm of oil that should be on the axle, for the correct level ?
  14. 598/5000 Hi everyone, I have a question about the oil change of the gearbox. (I know there are already lots of topics on this subject but I can not find an answer to my question.) So when you remove the speedo cabel, there is a risk that the plastic drive gear falls in the gear box. But how do I put it back in place once the operation is over?? PS: If you look in the Haynes page 1A14 image 28.3B, and compare to picture 28.4 there is a longer distance between the plastic drive gear and the rest of the unit. How can it be? Does it look like that when its beginning to fall off ? Thanks.
