I've seen a few RS Turbo conversions about recently... on ebay and the like.

I knew it was going to be something along those lines - was expecting an older radio or something though. Would people really buy something like that for an ipod? Might be ironic but it looks cr*p!

Oh yeah! I can see the blo*dy Bugatti badge now!! What a numpty!

For reason when I started looking I mistakenly thought the Fabia was based on the Golf and thought it funny how small it felt inside... it didn't stop me buying one but it did annoy me how often I'd end up catching my passengers knee with my left hand when changing gear. That and knocking shoulders when you both reach for the seatbelts at the same time. We found there's decent space in the back for two adults or three kids (but with only two boosters). We managed a weeks camping trip with two sets of adult mountain bike wheels and a complete kids bike in the boot and everything else filling the gaps and half the back seat. The MTB frames were on a boot mounted rack.

Yeah, true. However, I know I didn't stipulate but I'm thinking of something modern with lots of valves... like the Zetec already suggested and being debated. I was kinda testing how many people would recognise the engine bay aswell! I'm not after a lot of power, just something reliable really and Ideally something small enough that doesn't require loads of fabrication too. Initially I liked the idea of a 1.25 Zetec... I've read most of that Zetecinside site and its very informative. Also found a site where a guy was fitting a vtec to his Fiesta but it seemed to stop being updated.

Is that the thing to do with the Ariel Atom?

Cars you don't see on the roads any more
foureyes replied to Dr Zoidberg's topic in General Automotive Chat
I love another Mk2 escort!! Not in orange mind... We've got a Nova GTE down the road from us. A friend of mine had one during uni too - was a laugh to drive! Especially as the brakes were unbalanced and it'd pirouette randomly! I know where there's a Mk1 Astra for sale in Stafford and I followed a Mk1 Cortina through Stone the other day. Having the County Showground not far away means we get see quite a lot of classic cars driving round. Old cars are brilliant. -
We've got one of them somewhere! Not sure child would be very happy about it though...

Hello. Please can anyone recommend anywhere that beats Play.com for the dualshock controller and remote at £35 and £15 respectively? Thanks, Luke.

Hello. I have a few questions: Anyone else find the '0' button arkward to press when trying to create a space in a text message? Whats the 'tap' sensor thing do? It's on but it doesn't react to any of my taps - is there a nack to it? Finally anyone know if any 3rd party sat-nav software will work on it? This is my first Nokia for ages since defecting to Sony Ericsson and I'm not entirely comfortable with the transition back again yet! Slightly wishing I'd have waited a bit longer for the new SE Aino with remote play compatiblity for the PS3... Cheers, Luke.

Buy a Scooby... or modify an Octavia 4x4?
foureyes replied to bluesmoke's topic in General Automotive Chat
Debatable - depending on how tasteful the Octy mods end up being! -
Ours started middle skool today! Doesn't seem five minutes since she was at nursery! Had a few tears during the holidays worrying that she won't see her old friends from primary. Very excited last night but then got abit nervous as I dropped her off! She was fine though - currently writing homework lists... that won't last long...

Wow... what language was that written in? You lost me after Skype!

Our Samsung HD has been fine since install 3 months ago - touch wood! Might be a different story once I get round to changing the disk!!

Selling on ebay is it me or have fees gone through the roof
foureyes replied to justinbarrow's topic in The Roadside Hotel
Frustrating! I had a few recently: 'Sorry, I've been on holiday' - email me before you go on holiday then! 'Lost my wallet...' - doesn't stop you using the internet though, does it?! -
Whereas the xbox has only had 5 different models, two motherboards and about 3 million (ish) special editions!

eBay.co.uk Fees 10% of the final value upto a max of £40 for private sellers... Some listings have to offer free postage - such as DVDs - as they reckon you have to compete with the likes of Play.com who post new items free post. -

Don't panic everyone... it's working again! -
Hi. A quick one if you please... I've got two Orange email accounts setup in Windows Mail; an @orange.net one which is working fine and an @orangehome.co.uk one which up to yesterday was also working fine. I haven't touched anything in Windows Mail and for some reason it won't send emails out but receives fine. The web based email works fine. Anyone else use @orangehome.co.uk? Having problems? Do I really have to ring Orange? :(
