Yeti head unit problems
Just for info here is my System info screen. Are there any firmware files available for download onto a SD card as it might be worth trying an upgrade?

Yeti head unit problems
I have the same issue with my Yeti head unit, just appeared yesterday and from what I have read on another Yeti forum there have been several other owners with the same problem. It reads 00:00 and flashes to 06:28 occasionally. Time on the main driver display is correct, and I have not been doing any work at the head unit recently.

Advice Please - Affordable Diagnostic tool for adapting new DPF Sensor or just get garage to fix?
@Bexhillian Yes same light but did not see the codes. Its still out and car seems normal, no idea what the garage will do now as probably intermittent. @blackbird Hopefully they will do that and see what state the filter is in. @Urrell I know that sound but this is more like an exhaust with a little hole affecting the note. Funny thing is, I have not heard it since the light went out again 🤔

Advice Please - Affordable Diagnostic tool for adapting new DPF Sensor or just get garage to fix?
UPDATE. Car is going in on Wed for a service and investigation of the Warning light. So now the warning light has gone off after being on for several days. I think its going to be hard to diagnose the cause, but I have read that one possible cause is a small leak in the exhaust sytem. That might be the cause as I'm sure sometimes I do hear a barely noticeable change in the exhaust note on certain revs. Just wonder if anyone has heard of that causing the sensor detection to trigger? Another thing I mean to do before I visit the garage is if it comes back on to check around the connections for a loose cable or bad connection. I hate intermittent faults!

Probably a more sensible path to take if I think about it logically. There is an independent VAG garage nearby so I will give them a try. Many Thanks.

Advice Please - Affordable Diagnostic tool for adapting new DPF Sensor or just get garage to fix?
My 2015 2.0 L TDI Euro6 Yeti popped up the Engine warning light a few days ago. A local garage scanned the faults and told me it was a DPF sensor fault, unfortunately I didn't get to see what the codes were. Looking at spare parts needed there are two DPF sensors fitted both are 03L906051B. Prices for the Sensor vary from £113 on the Skoda UK parts site to around £30 for the Bosch equivalent. I am happy to replace the sensor (assuming only one is faulty) and follow instructions to do the adaptation, however I don't want to spend a fortune on a diagnostic tool that I may not use in the future. As far as I can gather the adaptation must be done after fitting the sensor but befoe starting the car again. Thoughts please on this and possible suggestions for a tool that would let me do the adaptation and reset the codes. Or should I just bite the bullet and pay the garage (not a Skoda dealer). I assume they will charge the full Skoda price for the part + labour. TIA.

Anyone got any idea?

Help Identify corroded pipe
Can anyone identify this pipe and want it carries e.g. oil, coolant and name of part etc. It's just behind the radiator fans and I am rather worried about the corrosion. Thanks, Alan.

Advice please - Tyre speed rating - 2015 2.0 L Tdi SE (Front Wheel drive)
Thanks for the info. Looking at prices there is only about £20 difference so may be better just having the Y all round. This also popped up in a search just now so posting it if it hels others https://www.wheel-size.com/size/skoda/yeti/2015/

Advice please - Tyre speed rating - 2015 2.0 L Tdi SE (Front Wheel drive)
I need to have two new tyres fitted to my Yeti. Currently I have 2 X Michelin Primacy 4 (225X55 R17 98Y) fitted to the front wheels. I want to add another set of Primacy probably on the front and move the existing tyres to the rear, good idea or not? Also when I look at websites and enter the reg they recommend W speed rating. If I recall correctly the garage did not have W last time and fitted the Y rating. Is the W the official rating for the car and if so can I fit them with the other set being a Y rating, or should I just pay a bit more for the Y rating? I also tried to find the manufacturers recommended rating and could not see it in the manual or documentation I have. I assume W rating is correct?

Service interval - 6 years and only 30,000 miles - advice please
That service pricing chart is really useful. Last service that was done they billed me for brake fluid change. I asked them how often that should be done and they said every 3 years. I then asked them why were they billing me as it should have been done at the 3 year service, then they removed the charge. If they actually did anything then it should be OK until next year but I will get it tested. As you can tell I do not trust them much so will be looking at an alternative dealer for servicing Thanks for the advice re cam belt and water pump, guess I'd better break open the piggy bank

Service interval - 6 years and only 30,000 miles - advice please
My 2015 Yeti 2.0l Diesel is due a service. Can anyone tell me what the garage should be doing on this service before I commit myself because in the past the local garage has been either too lazy or didn't want me to know what was done on the service.
