I've had a look on ETOS and it looks like the clutch is the same for the PD & CR engines. But the DMF is different.

Yeah, I'd be up for this, not too fussed about the day. I should be able to make any this month.

so if this oil is VW 507 00 approved then it should be okay?
Yes 507 00 spec oil is fine for the PD engine.

Yeah this XDS system works well as a limited slip diff, just amazing how it finds grip even when you thinks there's none.
From what I read these 1.4tsi seem idiot proof for quick starts.
I don't know about that. I keep getting caught out by the hill hold control. Must try harder

Much appreciated, Thank you.
I'll keep my eyes open for the update

a ) what RPM does it go up to?
Mine usually goes to 4.2k for the turbo to kick in. Today though, in 3rd, I hit the peddle in anger (stupid BMW driver :wonder:) and it went up to 5.5k and this was in 3rd.
I wouldn't worry too much, drop it into "S" and it'll quite happily change up at 7k when you give it a boot.

Evening all,
Bit of an odd one here, just done a scan on my Ibiza, but I'm stumped by this one. When I run the scan I get a pop up telling my that no .ROD file is found and it finds this code, 4363 - ROD - Unknown Error Code, from the engine. I get the same thing when trying to access any of the measuring blocks for the engine.
Vehicle is a MY11 Ibiza Cupra.
Can anybody shed some light on the problem or a fix?
Thanks

Is there anybody travelling from the north who is staying locally the night before as I intend to?
I'm coming from Manchester, on the Friday afternoon. Looking at the travelodge near J17 on M4, seems the cheapest option.

The T4 has a few engine choices, 1.9TDi & 2.5TDi seem to the popular ones but there are N/A versions of both. All are as you say fairly bullet proof but the 2.4 & 2.5's are known for going through the fan belt crank pulleys, IIRC there was a recall on them. T5's just seem to suffer with the usual VAG Diesel engine problems
Personal choice T5 sportline purely for the looks
-
Yep choice of 4 fuel filters on the late PD engines. TBH the easiest way to tell is take it apart and get the OE numbers of the element (Yes I know its a PITA ), Even with ETOS I still struggle to get the right one for customers and I think dealers have the same problem.

+1 for the superpro dog bone bush. Although I never noticed any more vibration with mine.
Superpro do list a couple of poly console bush kits but IMO not worth the extra cost when the Cupra bushes do the same job at a fraction of the price.

Put me down for the club stand. I take it we'll be able to sort out our own track sessions on the day as with previous years?

+1 for the quaife. Completely transforms the handling. Better traction off the line, more grip mid corner.

I'm glad its found a good home.
Infact that's the first time in 4 years that I've heard the noise it makes on the over run coming off the throttle from outside, that chrip inside is a warble from where I was , No wonder people kept staring all these years
Have fun

Looks like a Motaquip part number, which for the most part are re branded Valeo kits. And I know the Valeo kit is a 3 piece. It does sounds a bit pricey for just the kit tho.
