Just booked a track day @ Cadwell park, a sessioned day aimed at novices (those who've done less than 3). Fingers crossed for the weather.
Anybody else up for this?

A new mount shouldn't have affected the steering geo. Any movement of the box it changed will be taken up by the inner CV joint. It might be a bit of a daft question but are the tyre pressures all OK?

I might be running a bit late but should be able to make it.

Excellent, I'll bookmark this for when I replace the base on mine this summer.

Sorry, RS fogs are the same right through. But they are different to elegance ones.
-
Yes RS fog lamps & surrounds are different.
Looking good in that colour btw.

Had a look on ETOS, the throttle valve adapter is bolted to the underside of the intake manifold. I guess the control module is bolted to the side of it.

They have become more common due to tougher emissions regs from the EU. To get the CO2 down manufactures are having to use thinner long life type oils in the engines, this in turn causes more vibrations transferred to the car. As a result manufacturers like LUK & Sachs have developed DMF's to reduce them. They not perfect by a long way, but should improve in years to come.

Air flow does look abit low especially for a mapped engine, but as rk696 said it shouldn't be causing a misfire. Could be a blocked/ faulty injector or problem with the fuel rail.
-
if thats to low you've wasted your time n effort...
The more I keep looking at it, the more I keep thinking your right.

Thanks for the replies, I wasn't going to lift it that much maybe 10mm on the front. It doesn't help that I forgot to tighten up the rear undertray screws, they went missing on the way home, so its now dragging over every speed hump & making me more than a bit worried for the sump.

Has anybody got any tips for adjusting ride height on coilovers.
Fitted a set of AP's yesterday, they looked alright just after it came off the ramp bit I think its looking a little too low now its settled over night.
Thanks

IIRC all the 1.9tdi engines in the fabia MK1 & 2 have DMF's. Failures are quite common, but a lot depends on driving style. I've seen DMF's last a few thousand miles, and others last well into the 100K mark.

Nope they have a solid flywheel. They have a separate balance shaft for damping because they are only 3 cylinder.

Don't you mean till they kick us out.

Have a look in steering assist, block 44. Group 2 is steering angle value . Group 1 is Pas pump values. Assuming its' the same as the Fabia.

Not exactly a guide for the pedal switch ( here ), follow it up to 9 where it shows both clutch pedal switch. The brake pedal removal is the same as. HTH

No need to take the entire dash out, you can get a bit more access if you drop the lower part of the dash, the bit with the light switch/can holder and the panel round the pedals. HTH.

The 1.2 3 cyl engine in all the VAG range have problems with the EGR valves, I've seen them blow the core plug out and smash the egr valve housing. IIRC its something to the with the settings in the ECU which causes them to run too hot. I think there is a software update that can be applied by a dealer.
