  1. same as DSG Gear Stick has been lost in all new VAGs (picture from Škoda Museum in Mlada Boleslav) i don't like often to visit Driving mode section while standard, now in 2022 already old school, gear stick gives immediate access to Sport just by short move back and Coasting by short move forward
  2. i have ordered from Germany (Tuning-Expert.com) one year ago 2021-08-12 Eibach Pro F11-85-043-02-FA front (from Audi Q2 lowering set) Eibach Pro F11-79-008-01-HA rear (from Superb AWD lowering set) Bilstein B6 DampTronic 23-254343 front Bilstein B6 DampTronic 20-267537 rear received after several months 2022-01-06 all springs and just front shocks, rears still out of stock 😞 about springs, even Eibach support answers, you can order standard springs or lowering sets. stiffness without lowering can be got only by your own calculations and experiments
  3. i prefer and recommend Waze! for local routes it's enough, during abroad trips i use additionally Google Maps on second phone for Columbus 8" Mib2 time at time i upload compilations from x-o-m-k-a -> https://www.drive2.ru/l/624182306801721558/
  4. idea about replace stock 205/55r16 to 205/65r16 came after ~80 kms long trip without cruise control -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/434028-tire-pressure-monitoring-system/ another idea, i need Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring System instead stock Indirect new tire is not tested yet, but dTPMS is must have! especially alternative sets do cost less than daily exit from supermarket
  5. just first of two problems will be solved
  6. OE 5Q0 601 011 B 6.5J 16" ET46 Copy-Paste from another tread -> Pros and Cons have been described already: a) same size as all other wheels -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/493502-full-sized-tyre-as-spare/ + can be installed on any axle + can be used for unlimited distances + no size diff = no speed limits + Cruise control will be available - boot floor will be pushed few cm up - most expensive b) custom 205/65r16, full diameter (my choice for 220ps) -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/442912-full-size-spare-wheel/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-5040470 + minor width diff will provide safe driving on + 30% of speed printed on spare disc. Important note, when installed on rear axle. + can be used for longer distances + minor circumference diff will provide ability of Cruise control usage. In theory, i haven't had to test it after OEM 205/55r16 were replaced. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot. - !!! doesn't fit on 272/280ps even on rear axle !!! c) custom 205/60r17, full diameter (my choice for 280ps) -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/520234-superb-mk3-spare-wheel/?do=findComment&comment=5818139 Pros are equal to b and fits on 272/280ps, which has bigger brake discs, 340/310, while all rest have 310/298 (front/rear) d) OEM 205/55r16 + lot wider than 'd' = safer than 'd', but don't think printed speed limit can be exceed more than + 10%, even when installed on rear axle. + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4 e) OEM 125/70r18 + fits in it's place, doesn't change size of boot - huge width difference = absolutely unsafe, even when installed or rear axle. - huge circumference difference disables usage of Cruise Control - huge circumference difference isn't healthy for 4x4 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/494383-can-anyone-with-a-20-tsi-220-factory-spare-wheel-tell-me-the-size/?do=findComment&comment=5550057 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/493502-full-sized-tyre-as-spare/?do=findComment&comment=5556680
  7. PPD isn't derivable at all, i have read couple of reports i felt standard DCC springs also too soft, on speeds 120kmh+ car were dancing away from the road if mode were left in `Comfort` then i searched for stiffer, click on link i posted above, there are part codes and way how to find stiffness without lowering(huge lowering)
  8. if care about driving conditions, i can say only one - standard springs are too soft, but lowering sets from Eibach / H&R are too short even when install rear Eibach's AWD springs on rear axle of FWD car i would prefer 20mm higher rear -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/?do=findComment&comment=5620484 front springs i "guessed" by first attempt, Eibach Pro from Audi Q2 empty car: with four passengers, without pilot: standard springs after 4 years:
  9. with all four passengers on the board three clothes suitcases in the trunk and zero boxes of wine looks too low, interesting how then looks plain lowering springs with passengers in the car? any complaints about driving condition during 4313 km trip around Czech Republic, but i'm worrying about winter driving and rear parking
  10. pictures from Škoda Museum in Mlada Boleslav -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/505968-škoda-museum-in-mlada-boleslav/ somewhere in 4313 km trip around Czech Republic have lost right rear top door molding 😞 that weren't fresh problem, unplugged several times before
  11. one of POIs in my 4313 km trip around Czech Republic 10Mb limit reached and BS forum's engine doesn't accept links from Google Drive 😞 like https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qC6SnfW4DCWFiwdvi5K_N7eSACqjBPj6/view
  12. By default Ebach and H&R ofers only lowering sets 😞 that which i found were guesed by compare different wights Audi Q2 1.5 has same Eibach springs as Superb 2.0 and i chose from Audi Q2 2.0, what gave stiffnes whitout lowernig. for front axle this will be good, but for rear axle you have to make your own calculation and guess. with AWDs rear springs on my FWD Supereb i'm not satisfied for 100% ride condition is perfect, but it is lower for 12mm than OEM DCC springs, whic were lower 10mm than standart suspension
  13. @QubiDK Find my posts, there are Ebach Pro springs without lowering. Driving has been improved a lot also after replace just front axle, annoying waterbed is gone! by my subjective opinion, the most, 65% of performance, came from stiffer Eibach Pro springs but in case i would like avoid lowering i installed Eibach Pro springs from Audi Q2 on front axle and Eibach Pro AWD springs on my FWD car
  14. I like Sporline exterior, but L&K has better interior. Ordered then last one and plannig make exterior laiter, same way as my my16 Style transformed to Sportline there are lot of invisible options which aren't present in Sportline
  15. for particular two cars maybe, if tires are same size and similar mileage, but how about other BS members? yours aren't worse case, have seen also that useless measures as arch to the disc side
  16. why not measure from the center of wheel? that cancels diff which comes from disc and tire sizes
  17. on front axle Eibach Pro springs from Audi Q2 will give perfect stiffness with zero lowering. for rear axle you have to find some stronger alternative as i found for my 220ps FWD hatch, i installed Eibach Pro springs from AWD Superb and got perfect stiffness with just 12mm lowering part codes and pictures -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/?do=findComment&comment=5676626 please share your opinion, what you found for rear axle, my next, already ordered, will be 280ps AWD
  18. installed rear Eibach Pro springs, rear Bilstein D6 DampTronics still out of stock 😞 distance between wheel center and arch corner front F11-85-043-02-FA (from Audi Q2): L. 376mm R. 378mm + ~2mm if compare to stock rear F11-79-008-01-HA (from 4x4): L. 354mm R. 354mm - ~12mm if compare to stock strange, i were expected opposite result - waited for ~10mm increase, there is one example: -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/478335-does-the-sportline-have-stiffer-suspension/?do=findComment&comment=5573227 more over, my car has installed Audi's rear spring pads + ~6mm Eibach Pro AWD vs OE FWD springs on Sunday i'm going to ~5k Km test drive, two weeks Riga.LV <-> LT;PL;CZ;DE trip
  19. that is speed of light! front ones, Bilstein B6 DampTronic 23-254343, arrived after 5 months of waiting rears Bilstein B6 DampTronic 20-267537 still out of stock, 11 months 😞 pictures -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/page/3/?tab=comments#comment-5620484
  20. for front axle i can suggest Eibach Pro from Q2 -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/485647-bilstein-b6-dcc-shock-absorbers-available-at-last/?do=findComment&comment=5620484 but for rear axle you have to make your own experiment, my choice were Eibach Pro AWD springs on FWD car -> https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/478335-does-the-sportline-have-stiffer-suspension/?tab=comments#comment-5573227 please share your opinion, i'm so interested for my next 2023. 280ps Superb, crossing fingers Mk3 not Mk4
  21. not sure for 100%, never used it, but try pres MEDIA button twice
  22. Are You sure? Share then links to 1910 files. 1810 are one year old, which were downloadable one month ago becomes a tradition, one year old 1810 map files placed on Škoda's server with half year delay, first post has been edited.
  23. i were banned at 27. February cause not agree to their war
  24. @Paikesejanku Tere! Estonian asphalt is perfect when compared to Latvian haven't tested yet outside Riga, my conclusion is, printed in specs dB value is more important for comfort and the best result can be reached only by sum 68-69 dB tire to sound deadening foam. in Riga i weren't able find any alternative for bought Good Year 71 dB
  25. done! installed 225/55r17 97Y 71dB Good Year EAGLE F1 ASYMMETRIC 5 SoundComfort foam sponge works, but only asphalt joints and potholes. on smooth asphalt new are little bit louder than previous 225/55r17 97Y 69dB Michelin Primacy 3 which were huge improvement if compare to stock 215/55r17 94W 71dB Pirelli Cinturato P7
